  • Vietti 2019 Castiglione Barolo

    $69.99$348.00

    Piedmont Italy
    Wine Advocate 95 Rating
This is the most accessible Barolo from Vietti and the wine that casts the biggest net in terms of fruit sourcing from across many MGA sites. The 2019 Barolo Castiglione is a layered and generous wine that reflects the main takeaways offered by this very successful vintage. In fact, because this wine is not from a single site, it speaks more to the quality of the vintage than it does to any one specific vineyard. The Castiglione reveals generous richness and concentrated cherry fruit with dark saturation and good structure that comes from the thicker skins developed on Nebbiolo grapes this year. It concludes with a salty mineral note that adds focus and elegance. R18-4

  • Vineyard 29 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 Aida Vineyard

    $226.99

On the valley floor, with an almost Châteauneuf du Pape layer of small stones, is the Aida Estate, one of my favorite vineyards just north of St. Helena. The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Aida Estate is a blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc aged 20 months in three-fourths new French oak. The good news is that there are 800 cases of this magnificent wine, with a somewhat Graves-like scorched-earth, charcoal, burning ember-scented nose, with notes of hot earth, blackberry and cassis fruit. Big, full-bodied, exuberant and rich, this thick, unctuously textured, purple wine should drink beautifully for 25-30 or more years.

  • Wayfarer 2017 Pinot Noir Wayfarer Vineyard

    $89.99

    Sonoma Coast California
    Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
The largest production cuvée based on a mix of clones, the 2017 Pinot Noir Wayfarer Vineyard was mostly destemmed and spent 15 months in 50-60% new French oak. It reveals a bright ruby-tinged color and offers a feminine style in its notes of raspberries, flowers, rose hips, and spice. It’s fine, incredibly elegant, has fine tannins, and just glides over the palate. SP7-6

  • Wayfarer 2021 Pinot Noir Wayfarer Vineyard

Very floral with hints of rose stems and hibiscus to the fresh ripe strawberry and citrus character. Medium to full body. Dried peach and orange peel flavors. Very long and intense. Lively at the end with lovely purity of fruit. Drink or hold. R12-5

  • Westwood Legend 2018 Red Blend

    Sonoma County California
    Wine Enthusiast 94 Rating
This combines 45% Syrah, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Mourvèdre, 6% Cabernet Franc and handfuls of Tannat and Petit Verdot. It shows bursts of lavender, game and violet, with traces of white pepper. Altogether the wine is velvety, smooth, softly tannic and robust. BX-6

  • William Fevre 2018 Chablis Vaillons Premier Cru

    $69.99

    Burgundy France
    Wine Enthusiast 94 Rating
This wine's intriguing nose combines rich candlewax with bright lemon oil. The palate is rounded and smooth, with buffered freshness on the mid palate. It is here that the sense of chalky depth comes in, conveying a stony, austere hinterland for which 2018's generous fruit is mere window dressing. With its depth, the wine expresses the vintage beautifully. R4-3

  • William Fevre 2021 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru

    $99.99

    Burgundy France
    Wine Advocate 95 Rating
Aromas of orange zest, peach, oyster shells, white flowers and freshly baked bread preface the 2021 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos, a full-bodied, layered and textural wine of impressive breadth and depth in this vintage, exhibiting considerable concentration and concluding with a long, electric finish. This will delight Chablis purists. R37-3

  • Yangarra 2013 Estate Vineyard Grenache High Sands

    $69.99

The 2013 Grenache High Sands has a medium/deep ruby-purple color and simply stunning nose of crushed raspberries, Bing cherries and potpourri with hints of lavender, star anise, vanilla, cinnamon stick and pepper. The concentrated, full-bodied palate juxtaposes remarkable freshness and a firm, finely grained backbone with voluptuous fruit spanning extraordinary depth. Heady, multilayered and yet with a solid backbone that suggests great ageing potential, Yangarra hits a whole other level with this vintage of High Sands! It's delicious now, but should greatly reward another 3-5 years of patience and drink a further 20+ years. Wow. R21-2

The 2020 Meursault Les Tillets opens with notes of crisp green apple, freshly baked bread, white flowers and crushed mint. Medium-bodied, satiny and elegant, it’s lively and precise, with a pretty core of fruit and a mouthwatering finish. R2-1
