Chateau Bellefont Belcier 2016 St-Emilion Grand Cru
$69.99Bordeaux France
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
The 2016 Château Bellefont-Belcier was truly brilliant on all three occasions I was able to taste it, rating 95 twice and 97 once. Coming from a 13.5-hectare vineyard on the magical Côte Pavie (it’s right next door to Larcis-Ducasse) and a blend of 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 20 months in 80% new oak, it offers a black fruit-driven style as well as loads of black raspberries, black cherries, graphite, leafy herbs, and hints of incense. It's powerful, full-bodied, has building sweet tannins, and the rock star purity of fruit that's the hallmark of the vintage. It’s an awesome wine to drink over the coming 20-25 years. SP51-5 -
William Fevre 2018 Chablis Vaillons Premier Cru
$69.99Burgundy France
Wine Enthusiast 94 Rating
This wine's intriguing nose combines rich candlewax with bright lemon oil. The palate is rounded and smooth, with buffered freshness on the mid palate. It is here that the sense of chalky depth comes in, conveying a stony, austere hinterland for which 2018's generous fruit is mere window dressing. With its depth, the wine expresses the vintage beautifully. R8-2 -
Bethel Heights Vineyards 2021 Pinot Noir Justice Vineyard
$79.99 – $450.00Eola-Amity Hills Willamette Valley Oregon
Wine Advocate 98+ Rating
The 2021 Pinot Noir Justice Vineyard comes from a single block of 667 clone vines and is one of the most impressive Pinot expressions I've encountered from the 2021 vintage in the Willamette Valley so far. Medium ruby-purple, it has intense, singular and pure aromatics: cranberry, rhubarb and blueberry are accented by fine touches of conifer, aniseed, iron and pipe tobacco, and it continues to shift and change as it spends time in the glass. The medium-bodied palate is powerful, offering highly concentrated, detailed fruit and a support of abundant, powdery tannins. It has seamless, energetic acidity and haunting streaks of spice and earth that fan across the tremendously long finish. It's difficult to put this wine down, although it will reward drinkers patient enough to tuck it away in the cellar. R14-4 BX-6

Louis Jadot 2020 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Ursules
$99.99Cote de Beaune Cote d'Or Burgundy France
Wine Spectator 95 Rating
A picture of elegance and finesse, with cherry, strawberry, floral and stony mineral aromas and flavors, this red is charming and seamless enough to enjoy now, yet will improve with age. Fine-grained tannins and bright acidity provide structure, while the finish lingers. Best from 2024 through 2042. SP4-6 -
Limerick Lane “1910 Block” 2014 Russian River Valley Zinfandel
$69.99California
Wine Advocate 96 Rating
My highest score went to the 2014 Proprietary Red 1910 Block, which comes from an historic terroir planted in 1910. The plot is 4.7 acres, and while it is dominated by Zinfandel, the likes of Peloursin, Négrette, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Carignan are also found there. Those varieties are all co-fermented together for this wine, which was aged 18 months in neutral oak and 100% destemmed. Inky purple, it offers up notes of blackberry and blueberry liqueur with creosote, charcoal, earth, licorice and underbrush. It has a dense, full-bodied, opulent texture, beautiful, plush tannins, and adequate but relatively low acidity. This big, juicy, exuberant, hedonistic fruit bomb should drink well for another 7-8 years. The finished alcohol is 15.1%. R17-4 -
Lewis Cellars 2017 Alec’s Blend Napa Valley
$59.99California
Wine Spectator 93 Rating
Supple and polished, with plump blackberry, toasty, mocha and spice flavors that glide on a lingering finish toward silky tannins. Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. SP19-2 -
Les Vins de Vienne 2018 Condrieu La Chambée
$59.99Northern Rhone Valley France
For fans of the Viognier grapes, no appellation is better in my opinion than Condrieu. When allowed to express itself and not over burdened with oak, this is a gorgeous yet delicate wine. Light golden in color. The nose is so pretty with white flowers, quince and peach. On the palate, this dances across the tongue. It is delicious with the quince and peach coming thru along with underlying minerality. While this should drink well for another five years, this is a wine that rewards drinking young. R45-1 -
Peay 2021 West Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
$59.99 – $330.00California
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Rating
Deep ruby with a jeweled appearance, the 2021 Pinot Noir West Sonoma Coast is pure with framboise and lavender wildflowers. Medium to full-bodied, with great structure, it’s beautifully pure and persistent, with notes of fresh pine and wildflowers as well as a great finish. Drink it over the next 20 years.
Must be ordered.

Luce della Vite 2016 Toscana IGT
$99.99Tuscany Italy
James Suckling 96 Rating
A ripe but suggestive nose of dark cherries, dark chocolate, hot stones, cassis, brambleberry pie and bark. Yet, on the palate, this paints an altogether different picture, in which sleek tannins carry fresh layers of forest fruit long, through a compact, full-bodied palate. Powerful acidity steers it through to a restrained but chewy finish. Drink from 2024. SP44-1
