The 2017 Chardonnay Isobel Charles Heintz Vineyard offers a captivating mix of the lush, tropical notes that are typical of this site with strikin5 beams of mineral tension that add support. Rich, exotic and alluring, the 2017 is off the charts gorgeous. I usually don’t like to compare American wines to French wines, as that implies a subservient relationship that does not exist, but the best way I can explain the 2017 is that it reminds me of a great Chablis Valmur.
