60% Mourvèdre, 40% Syrah this Première Red is organically grown and produced entirely from the Figuière estate in the Côtes-de-Provence AOP. While the wines of Provence are known only for their rosés, St André de Figuière uses its Chablis experience to make its white production one of the most remarkable. His work on red brings him the recognition of his peers, all regions combined. Just a glance at the deep intensity of the dress makes you want to know more. The bouquet promises to be complex: blackberries, liquorice and spices. On the palate, the wine is rich, silky, balanced, dense with very good maturity, with tannins that are both fine and present. The whole is elegant, the wine seems ready already, but we feel that it can still sleep a few years in the cellar.
