A gorgeous wine, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is also one of the most elegant wines I have ever tasted from Kamen. It expresses all of the natural intensity of this site, but with a bit less extraction than in the past. which is not a bad thing at all. Blackberry jam, gravel, lavender, chocolate and crushed rocks flesh out in a sensual, wonderfully inviting Cabernet that hits all the right notes. The 2018 could benefit from a few years in bottle, but it is absolutely stellar today. Best after 2025. R31-2 SP27-2
