Coming from the Law Family's estate vineyard located high up off of Peachy Canyon road, the 2012 Law Vineyard is 64% Syrah and 36% Grenache that was raised in a combination of new and neutral barrels. It offers tons of black raspberry, violets, peppery and chalky minerality to go with a beautiful, elegant and layered, yet concentrated and full-bodied feel on the palate. While it comes from a hot terroir, it has plenty of nuance and is far from a fruit bomb. There's enough fine tannin to keep it drinking nicely through 2025. R11-1
