The 2023 Derthona Timorasso is a pure expression without any oak aging and pours a medium golden yellow color. The nose is pretty and floral with aromas of honeycomb, melon, fresh pear, white flowers, and saline. The palate is savory, salty, and medium-bodied, although it has a good deal of dry extract and a glycerin-rich texture that will only be amplified as the wine ages.
