The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon shows the brighter side of Cabernet, with a rounded midpalate of cassis and sweet oak wrapped in considerable tannin. Secondary characteristics of dried herb and pencil shavings add intrigue and complexity to the medium-bodied whole, with 7% Petit Verdot adding color and tannin and 4% Malbec and 4% Merlot more supple juiciness to the fruit. Sourced from the Bob Healy Estate, Flying B Estate, and Kulle, aging took place over 22 months in 42% new French oak.
