The 2021 Coombsville is an inky purple/black wine with an enormous array of intense aromas. Exploding from the glass are perfumed fruit: exotic black raspberries, loganberries and black currants; with suede leather, scorched earth, wet bricks, and black molasses. Adding furthercomplexity are hints black cardamom, dark chocolate, and cinnamon. This wine is mouth-coatingly rich, hugely concentrated, with the velvetiest of tannins, ultimately producing a seamless experience. Sweet ripe fruit explodes on the palate, showing gorgeous ripe black fruit and amazing balance. At the same time a powerful and delicious wine. Drink the 2021 Coombsville over the next 25 years. R7-5

Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2019 Zinfandel Giuseppe & Luisa bursts with singular aromas of dried lavender and citrus peel, smoky, mineral-like undertones and loads of exotic spices over a core of wild berry preserves and peaches. It’s incredible in the mouth, its full flavors delivered in a silky, ultra fresh and lifted frame, and it finishes with loads of floral nuance. Wow! 1,653 cases produced.

  • Martinez 1955 Vintage Porto

    $549.99

    Portugal
    James Suckling 99 Rating
The 1955 Martinez Vintage Port has a deep red color, clear center, pale orange on the rim. A lovely nose of oranges and tobacco. Sweet entry, with the oranges – blood oranges – dominating the initial flavors. Lots of acidity giving the fruit plenty of support. The texture thickens in the mouth. Great development, thick and flavorful. Excellent wine. Enormous aftertaste. Cedar wood, cranberries and with a lovely sweetness lasting all the way through the long length. Improved in the glass for the short time it remained in there.
