Trimbach 2022 Pinot Blanc
$19.99 – $102.00Alsace France
Natalie MacLean 91 Rating
Trimbach 2022 Pinot Blanc is a dry, full-bodied Alsatian white wine from Maison Trimbach, who have been growing grapes in Alsace since 1626. Love the vibrant and fresh nose of melon, fresh almond and white-fleshed stone fruit with a creamy and lingering white pepper spice finish on the palate. Very nicely done!

Turley 2014 Petite Sirah Library Vineyard Napa Valley
$99.99California
Wine Advocate 95 Rating
Noticeably floral with blueberries and blackberries is the 2014 Petite Syrah Library Vineyard, from a site adjacent to the Hayne Vineyard on the back streets of St. Helena. Again, this has civilized tannins that are silky and well-integrated, followed by a wine with an enormous wealth of fruit, lavish concentration, and extravagant texture and richness. It is always hard to peg when these will hit full maturity, but this one has a good 5-10 years of development and should keep for three decades as well. SP19-1 -

Turley 2016 Petite Sirah Hayne Vineyard Napa Valley
$114.99California
Wine Advocate 96 Rating
he 2016 Petite Syrah Hayne Vineyard is the most perfumed and elegant of Turley’s Petite Syrahs (they don’t spell it “Sirah”) this year, unfurling in the glass with a pure and fragrant bouquet of cassis, dark plums, rose petals and pencil lead. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, layered and multidimensional, with a deep core of vibrant, juicy fruit, satiny but abundant tannins and a long finish. It’s an exceptional wine from a singular vineyard. SP15-1 -

Turley 2016 Petite Sirah Pesenti Vineyard Paso Robles
$89.99California
Wine Advocate 94 Rating
Generous and dramatic, the 2016 Petite Syrah Pesenti Vineyard is quite different in profile from Turley's Petite Syrahs (they don't spell it “Sirah”) from the North Coast, bursting from the glass with a rich bouquet of balsamic cherry, dark fruit compote and grilled meat. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, lavish and expansive, with plush but abundant tannins, juicy acids and an ample core of fruit. SP15-2 -

Tyler 2019 Mae Estate Chardonnay
$69.99Santa Rita Hills California
Wine Advocate 97 Rating
Mae Estate is brand new cuvée from Tyler. “This place came on the market in 2014,” explains winemaker Justin Tyler Willett. “We had contemplated buying a place, so we will break ground here in 2022 on a new winery.” Located in the Sta. Rita Hills appellation on marine sediment soils, the Mae Estate will become the new home for Tyler wines. The 2019 Chardonnay Mae Estate is a beautiful first iteration. The nose features creamy panna cotta, lemon peel and pastry aromas streaked with sweet spice, and the palate has a unique satiny texture that coats the mouth and draws out its plush, creamy citrus and apricot layers. Don't hesitate to try this promising new cuvée from Tyler. R30-4 -

Tyrrell’s 2024 Semillon
$24.99 – $126.00Hunter Valley Australia
Wine Enthusiast 92 Rating
Quite fruity and primary but highly likable, with oodles of fresh tropical and citrus fruit and orchard blossom notes. There’s zippy acidity and a little textural weight, making this ultra easy to knock back, but also a versatile food pairing. It’s a bargain to boot.
