Domaine Des Deux Roches 2018 Vieilles Vignes Pouilly Fuisse
$29.99Maconnais France
Domain Deux Roches is a deep gold wine that has an intense brioche aroma with hints of stone fruits and flowers, and a restraint that hints at its minerality. It has a complex palate of green apples, with hints of citrus, creamy oak notes, and a mineral austerity that perseveres into an impressive finish. -

I’ve had several vintages of this wine and this is my favorite so far. Despite hitting 14.1% abv, it feels light on its feet, with a nice balance between gentle acidity and velvety tannins. Look for aromas and flavors of briary raspberries, graphite, earth and coffee with cream.

Domaine Drouhin 2023 Arthur Chardonnay
$43.99 – $222.00Dundee Hills Oregon
Chardonnay Arthur opens to a classic bouquet of white flowers, Anjou pear, and golden apple. The palate is nuanced and balanced, with a sense of minerality and honeyed lemon zest. Small berries and strict selection at harvest resulted in the intensity of flavors on display. Arthur combines strength and finesse, has nice acidity, and features a medium-long finish that will likely expand as the wine ages over the next 7-10 years.

Domaine du Château de Pierreclos 2022 1er Cru Au Vignerais Pouilly-Fuissé
$79.99 – $420.00Burgundy France
Decanter Magazine 93 Rating
An intense set of aromas explode from the glass, bold and bassy, full of pineapple, lemon zest, honey and honeysuckle, set within a backdrop of smoky, flinty intrigue. It’s ripe and opulent, with lots of flavour and lots of power, but it’s structurally very fine, with a long, buttery, silky finish. From one of the 22 vineyards promoted to premier cru in 2020.

Domaine du Pegau 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee da Capo
$299.99
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Rating
The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Da Capo is smoking good. Blackcurrants, lavender, garrigue, violets, cured meats and saddle leather all flow from this rich, unctuous, incredibly decadent 2015 that has sweet tannin, a huge mid-palate, and more concentration than just about every other wine in the vintage.SP38-6 -

Wine Advocate 95 Rating
Pegau's 2019 Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc Cuvée Réservée is almost Burgundian in character, the way it balances upfront generosity with mouthwatering length. The flavors are different, offering hints of crushed stone, underripe pineapple, white peach and dried spices, then this medium to full-bodied wine adds vaguely chalky textural elements on the long finish. Silky and streamlined, it does a wonderful job of preserving freshness throughout. SPB1-1 -

The 2020 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée is one of the strongest vintages for this wine in recent history. It is magnificent, soaring from the glass with pungent aromas of crème de cassis, ripe raspberry and strawberry, cured meat, tobacco, licorice, iodine and garrigue. Full-bodied, vibrant to the core and offering a multidimensional profile, this wine is really, really good. The Féraud family and the entire team deserve a round of applause for this sublime Cuvée Réservée, which will still be kicking ass 20 years from now. R45-4 SP37-17
