A beautiful, brilliant garnet-red color. The nose is very pretty with woody and fruity notes. On the palate are grilled and fruity, very ripe cherry aromas. The tannins are present without being too intrusive or aggressive. An elegant wine, fine and pedigreed. Serve with with grapes, duck breast with mushrooms, roast turkey, and any games dish. SP1-2 -
Faiveley 2020 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru
$249.99Burgundy France
Decanter Magazine 96 Rating
The wine has an inky dark color and pronounced aromas of blackberry, fig, smoke and spice. The texture is lush, yet there are firm tannins and the wine never seems overbearing or aggressive – everything is kept in elegant balance. Faiveley is the proprietor of three parcels that total 1.27ha in the Clos de Vougeot, including a portion in Grand Maupertuis and two parcels nearer the bottom. The fruit was picked very ripe (14.5%) and partially destemmed before fermentation, with a very careful extraction and ageing in cask (half new). SPBX-6 -

Faiveley 2020 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru
$249.99Burgundy France
TimAtkin.com 97 Rating
Exotic, dark and turbo-charged, this wine is wound up with sweet black plums and blackberries, anise and forest floor. It’s definitely a wine for those that like bolder, chunkier Pinots, whether you drink it soon or wait a few decades. Speaking of which, Jérôme feels strongly that it is best to wait ten years before trying this wine. For the less patient, I implore you to wait at least six or seven years! 2026-42. SP4-1 -

Far Mountain 2020 Fission Cabernet Sauvignon
$64.99Moon Mountain District Sonoma
Enjoyabilityfactor 94 Rating
The wine is dark, fresh and young. Enters with density and freshness together with a long mid palate. Earthy notes are present together with spices and dry herbs combined with the black fruit. Graphite gives way to bright, red fruit on a textural palate marked by mountain minerality. Balance and bright flavors, tannins are present yet in a subtle and soft way. Its defined structure along with fine-grained tannins that are present, yet soft, result in a complex finish that will allow the wine to age gracefully. -
Far Niente 2019 Dolce (375 ml)
$79.99 – $300.00Napa Valley California
The 2019 Dolce begins with lifted aromas of fruit and spice notes of apricot, tangerine and cardamon together with the honeyed character of Botrytis. Coating and creamy on the palate, the promise of the aromas comes true with honeyed and citrus flavors that persist long into the finish. The juiciness and richness of this vintage also carries with it more subtle flavors of honeysuckle, toasted coconut, baking spices, the minerality of wet stone, and caramelized vanilla custard reminiscent of crème brulee.
