Kenwood Vineyards 2021 Six Ridges Cabernet Sauvignon
Price range: $19.99 through $102.00Alexander Valley California
Decanter World Wine Awards 97 Rating
Best in Show
The 2021 Kenwood Six Ridges Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley opens with expressive aromas of lightly roasted coffee, graphite, and carob, layered over ripe blackberry and plum. On the palate, it delivers a plush and generous texture, with vivid fruit unfolding across a polished, balanced structure. The midpalate feels supple and approachable, while the finish firms up with savory, hillside-driven depth and well-integrated oak. There’s a subtle wild herb and mocha note that lingers, tying everything together with quiet elegance. For a wine at this price point, it overdelivers on complexity, character, and regional identity.

Kistler 2015 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
$79.99California
Vinous 91 Rating
Kistler's 2015 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is lifted and gracious, with expressive floral notes and bright red berry fruit. The purity of the flavors is quite remarkable. I thought, and frankly expected, the 2015 to retain a bit more of the exuberance it showed from barrel. Today, the Sonoma Coast Pinot has developed into a wine of finesse and understatement rather than raciness. Even so, it is very pretty. SP7-4 -

Kistler Vineyards 2023 ‘Les Noisetiers’ Chardonnay
$69.99Sonoma Coast California
This ‘Les Noisetiers’ Chardonnay is Kistler’s multi-vineyard Chardonnay bottling based on the three Sonoma Coast vineyards from which they bottle single vineyard examples; Vine Hill, Trenton Roadhouse and Dutton Ranch. ‘Noisetiers’ means ‘hazelnut’ in French and “refers to the lightly toasted hazelnut characters manifested year in and year out from these sites.” As with the vineyard-designates, this wine is barrel fermented and aged on the lees in 25% new three year air-dried French oak barrels for 11 months, after which time it is transferred to stainless steel tank for another three months of aging before bottling. -

Kosta Browne 2015 Gap’s Crown Pinot Noir
$99.99Sonoma Coast California
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Rating
From a site that was decimated with regards to yields, the 2015 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard comes from a very diverse site that has varying soil types and elevations. At the top, it's primarily iron, volcanic soils, with some clay, but as you move down the vineyard you find more chert (seabed soils) and clay/loam. Kosta Browne owns a full 36 acres of the site, with lots of varying clones, and this is one of the larger production cuvee. The 2015 Pinot Noir Gap’s Crown Vineyard is smoking good and just loaded with notions darker fruits, caramelized blackberries, smoked earth, and pepper. Big, rich and textured on the palate, with a smoking good texture, this is one of the larger scaled, richer wines in the lineup. -
