The 2017 Pinot Noir Zio Tony Ranch brings together all the best elements of the Martinelli house style. Sweet dark cherry, plum, spice, lavender, leather and menthol flesh out in the glass. Juicy and voluptuous, yet also medium in body, the 2017 has so much to give in an up-front style that offers tons of near and medium term appeal. SP5-1

    Wine Advocate 97 Rating
Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2019 Zinfandel Giuseppe & Luisa bursts with singular aromas of dried lavender and citrus peel, smoky, mineral-like undertones and loads of exotic spices over a core of wild berry preserves and peaches. It’s incredible in the mouth, its full flavors delivered in a silky, ultra fresh and lifted frame, and it finishes with loads of floral nuance. Wow! 1,653 cases produced.

  • Martinez 1955 Vintage Porto

    Martinez 1955 Vintage Porto

    $549.99

    Portugal
    James Suckling 99 Rating
The 1955 Martinez Vintage Port has a deep red color, clear center, pale orange on the rim. A lovely nose of oranges and tobacco. Sweet entry, with the oranges – blood oranges – dominating the initial flavors. Lots of acidity giving the fruit plenty of support. The texture thickens in the mouth. Great development, thick and flavorful. Excellent wine. Enormous aftertaste. Cedar wood, cranberries and with a lovely sweetness lasting all the way through the long length. Improved in the glass for the short time it remained in there.

Very fresh and attractive Barolo with abundant red cherries and a wealth of sweet, rose-petal aromas, too. The palate has a very plush, fleshy and juicy core of fruit in the red-cherry zone. The tannins are velvety and long. One of the more approachable 2015s. Drink or hold. SP50-2
