Lucie Dutron 2021 Macon Villages
$29.99 – $156.00Maconnais Burgundy France
Enjoyabiltyfactor 92 Rating
The Lucie Dutron Macon Villages is 100% Chardonnay from sustainably farmed vines located in Viré, Péronne, and Verzé. The vines are 20-45 years old and grow in limestone and clay soil. We were surprised by the wine’s richness and intensity. Pale gold with green flecks, the nose is joyfully expressive, white peach and citrus notes and white flowers jump from the glass. The palate is lush and has weight. Smooth, round, supple and complex with a surprisingly long finish. Flavors are fresh and lively mirroring the aromatics.

LUIANO 2015 Chianti Classico Riserva
$29.99 – $155.94Tuscany Italy
Wine Spectator 95 Rating
A fresh, detailed style, exhibiting cherry, black currant, licorice, leather and iron aromas and flavors. This firms up as the latent structure emerges on the finish, yet the lasting impression is of equilibrium and sweet, ripe fruit. Best from 2020 through 2038. 2,500 cases made. Luigi Einaudi 2013 “Terlo Vigna Costa Grimaldi” Barolo
$69.99Piedmont Italy
Decanter Magazine 95 Rating
Though Terlo is predominantly east facing, Einaudi's Costa Grimaldi vineyard curves southward, creating a southeastern exposure. The wine is aged in a combination of medium-toast French barriques, 10% new, and five hectolitre French and Austrian casks. Smoky and grilled at first, it then opens up to reveal enticing black pepper, graphite and fragrant black tea nuances. It is concentrated and layered without being heavy, and the fruit is supported by firm, confident tannins. SP45-1 -
Lunaria 2022 Ramoro Pinot Grigio
$18.99 – $96.00Terre di Cheti IGP Abruzzo Italy
Bright copper. Aromas of freshly peeled tangerine, cantaloupe and yellow stone fruit. The palate is bright yet textured, with an intriguing, savory profile. Flavors follow of orange marmalade, mango, dried papaya, candied orange peel with a hint of minerally earth. Multilayered and fleshy through the remarkably refreshing finish.

M by Mac and Billy 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles
$24.99 – $132.00California
Wine Advocate 91 Rating
The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is a touch shy to begin before revealing red cherry, tobacco, aniseed and earth with wafts of floral perfume and mint chocolate. The full-bodied palate has a deep core of perfumed fruit framed by supple tannins and bright acidity, and it has a long, refreshing finish.

Made from 100% Viognier, the 2016 IGP Collines Rhodaniennes La Combe Pilate is a ripe, unctuous beauty that boasts a huge nose of ripe peach, orange blossom, and honeysuckle. Rich, medium to full-bodied and textured, it's a mini (maybe not so mini) Condrieu. SWS R25-1Buy this by the 6pk for $19.99 per bottle

M. Chapoutier 2021 Belleruche Cotes du Rhone Rouge
$13.99 – $144.00Southern Rhone Valley France
Jeb Dunnuck 88 Rating
Based on 70% Grenache, 25% Syrah, and the rest Marselan, the 2021 Côtes Du Rhône Belleruche is classic stuff, offering plenty of peppery, garrigue, and floral notes, a solid core of darker fruits, medium body, and a soft, elegant mouthfeel. It’s another impeccably made wine from this team that I’d be happy to drink.

Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
A step up, the 2016 Barolo Bussia Riserva has a fabulous nose of ripe cherries, dried rose petals, spice, white truffle, and loamy earth. It's balanced, medium-bodied, has fine tannins, flawless balance, and just a nuanced, seamless profile. SP49-11 -
M.Chapoutier 2021 Belleruche Blanc
$13.99 – $144.00Southern Rhone Valley France
Jeb Dunnuck 91 Rating
Another terrific white from this team that will sell for a song, the 2021 Côtes Du Rhône Belleruche Blanc offers up lots of peach and hints of citrus as well as notes of chalky minerality and wild fennel. A blend of 40% Roussanne, 25% Viognier, and the rest Grenache Blanc and Clairette, this medium-bodied, balanced, lively white would easily stand up to a Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc in a blind tasting. Drink bottles over the coming 2-4 years.
