Domaine Paul Autard 2017 Chateauneuf-du-Pape La Cote Ronde
$59.99Southern Rhone Valley France
Wine Spectator 94 Rating
Dark and winey, featuring lots of currant, fig and blackberry compote notes stuffed together, with hints of ganache, tobacco and roasted alder filling in around them. A warm earth accent runs through the finish, which exhibits grip and drive. Rock-solid. Best from 2022 through 2037. 750 cases made, 200 cases imported. R45-4 -
Domaine Saint-Damien 2017 “Cuvée Clovis Saurel” Gigondas
$59.99Southern Rhone Valley France
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
Another remarkable effort is the 2017 Gigondas Clovis Saurel, which is a single vineyard cuvée made from 100% Grenache. Rock star notes of kirsch and mulled dark fruits are intermixed with lots of sappy flowers and incense aromas and flavors. It's deep and full-bodied, with a wonderful sense of elegance and purity and ultra-fine tannins. It's going to benefit from a year or three of bottle age and cruise in cool cellars for 10-15 years. La Giaretta 2017 I Quadretti Amarone
$59.99Veneto Italy
An intense ruby red color, a special body and a bouquet reminiscent of spices on this wine; nonetheless, the Amarone della Valpolicella “I Quadretti” retains the typical scent and flavor of cherry and wild berry. -
Peay 2021 West Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
$59.99 – $330.00California
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Rating
Deep ruby with a jeweled appearance, the 2021 Pinot Noir West Sonoma Coast is pure with framboise and lavender wildflowers. Medium to full-bodied, with great structure, it’s beautifully pure and persistent, with notes of fresh pine and wildflowers as well as a great finish. Drink it over the next 20 years.

Les Vins de Vienne 2018 Condrieu La Chambée
$59.99Northern Rhone Valley France
For fans of the Viognier grapes, no appellation is better in my opinion than Condrieu. When allowed to express itself and not over burdened with oak, this is a gorgeous yet delicate wine. Light golden in color. The nose is so pretty with white flowers, quince and peach. On the palate, this dances across the tongue. It is delicious with the quince and peach coming thru along with underlying minerality. While this should drink well for another five years, this is a wine that rewards drinking young. R45-1 -
Lewis Cellars 2017 Alec’s Blend Napa Valley

Wine Spectator 93 Rating
Supple and polished, with plump blackberry, toasty, mocha and spice flavors that glide on a lingering finish toward silky tannins. Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. SP19-2 -
Roederer Estate 2017 L’Ermitage Brut
$59.99Anderson Valley Mendocino California
James Suckling 96 Rating
Delightful citrus notes with yellow apple, faint white flowers, sourdough, brioche and a hint of hazelnut. Full-bodied with a very delicate and fine bead, and crisp acidity. Beautiful finesse with an amusing transparency and freshness to it. Very refreshing, too. Fine bubbles. Structured. Drink with meat. A blend of 52% chardonnay, 46% pinot noir and 2% pinot meunier.

Herman Story Wines 2020 First Time Caller
$59.99 – $330.00Paso Robles California
Antonio Galloni 94 Rating
Inky black-purple in the glass, the wine is totally opaque, thickly coating the glass. All about massive opulence and pleasure-giving fruit, this bodacious 15.9% ABV Petite Sirah is dark as night in the glass. Layered and substantially more complex than it initially seems, there is real structural definition underneath the hedonism. A line of energy and a framework of fine tannins supports the array of blackberry, black cherry, coffee, dark chocolate, black pepper and smoke notes. Pair with spicy ribs or grilled ribeye, by itself or even a cigar. A seriously cool wine of great impact! R3-2 SP16-6

Herman Story Wines 2020 Casual Encounters
$59.99 – $330.00Paso Robles California
Inkier colored, the Casual encounters is a blend of 58% Mourvèdre, 34% Syrah, and 8% Grenache. Lots of mulled black fruits, smoked meat, barbecue, and peppery notes emerge from the glass. It’s full-bodied, super-rich, and concentrated, yet still stays light on its feet and beautifully balanced. It’s a classic, sweetly fruited, sexy wine to enjoy over the coming 5-7 years or so. R2-3
