I Greppi 2020 Greppicaia Bolgheri Superiore
$69.99 – $360.00Tuscany Italy
Wine Spectator 95 Rating
The Greppicaia Bolgheri Superiore is a blend of barrique-aged Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Cabernet Franc (20%) and Merlot (20%). Full of plum, blackberry and black currant flavors, this succulent red is balanced and supple in texture. Leather, earth and tobacco flavors add depth as this stays long and bright on the finish. This is as much about the vivid acidity as tannins for structure. Best from 2025 through 2040.

Fleshy in texture but steely at the core, with vibrant acidity and crushed stone accents framed by raspberry, guava, fresh violet and black tea flavors that gather tension toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2034. 586 cases made. SP7-6 -

Kumeu River 2023 Hunting Hill Chardonnay
$71.99 – $372.00Auckland New Zealand
Wine Enthusiast 95 Rating
A medium gold hue, this top notch Chardy from New Zealand’s North Island opens with rich, heady apricot and nougat aromas. There’s a briny element—florals too—and a lactic, toasty underbelly. A juicy fruited tang on the elegant palate keeps the mouth watering. It’s countered by a lovely slippery texture. A complete and totally delicious wine now, it could also evolve nicely over the next decade.

Antinori 2015 Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino
$73.99Tuscany Italy
James Suckling 94 Rating
Quite reductive and earthy, but opens to show tidy cranberries and glazed red cherries. Hints of citrus and spice. Full-bodied and rich, but there’s savory edge to the plush, juicy tannins, and lots of weight and density. Drink from 2024. SP49-5 -
Heitz 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon
$74.99 – $390.00Napa Valley California
James Suckling 94 Rating
A pure, balanced and fresh Napa cabernet that is not just showing heady concentration and dark fruit. Here you get some violets, nimble flowers, redcurrants, graphite and fine spices. Some oranges, too. Fragrant and nuanced. Medium to full body with tight yet refined tannins. Rather linear, tense and elegant, but lacking neither power nor definition. Better to give it a few years to deliver more complexity. R39-6

Antinori 2022 Cervaro della Sala
$74.99 – $378.00Umbria Italy
Cervaro della Sala” by Antinori has a graceful appearance with straw yellow tones, with youthful greenish reflections. The nose is complex, variegated on intense hints of citrus peel and candied orange, notes of acacia flowers and spicy nuances of vanilla, within a frame that refers to a certain underlying minerality. The sip is broad and soft, the palate rich in saline sensations that blend with hints of buttery pastry and an evident toasted hazelnut. It can surprisingly marry plateaus of sea urchins and bulot, or face a mustard poulet de Bresse.
