Part of the Montepulciano matures in tanks and another part in oak barrels. As a result, the wood ripening in the final assembly is very dosed and the characteristic fruity and spicy flavors from Abruzzo are fully preserved. This is a truly beautiful red wine, which comes into its own best after some aeration. It goes very well with grilled meat or baguette with sausage and cheese. Despite its strength, it is a true four-season wine that – if slightly cooled – is very tasty even on a hot day.
