Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle No. 26 Brut
$249.99Champagne France
James Suckling 100 Rating
This is really something. Electric on the palate. The aromas are so complex with sliced fresh and dried ginger, subtle pie crust, tarte tatin and hints of nutmeg with some salted caramel. Toasted bread, too. Always subtle. The palate is full- to medium-bodied yet hemmed-in with a freshness and balance that draws you back. Savory and vibrant. It’s full of energy. Spectacular. Fascinating. Symphonic blend of 2012, 2008 and 2007. 65% of the 2012, 25% of the 2008 and 10% of the 2007. Eight grand cru. Chardonnay 58% and 42% pinot noir. Disgorged February 2023. 10 years on the lees. 7g/L dosage. Drink or hold.

Brewer-Clifton 2018 Chardonnay 3D
$79.99Santa Rita Hills California
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Rating
My favorite of the Chardonnay releases is the 2018 Chardonnay 3D, and this beauty has everything you could want from a Sta. Rita Hills release. Medium gold-hued, with a stunning nose of stone fruits, white currants, crushed stone, toasted bread, and a hints of green almonds, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a seamless, elegant texture, flawless balance, and a great, great finish. It's one of the finest Chardonnays in this report. SPA3-6 -
K Vintners 2019 Syrah Rockgarden Vineyard
$44.99 – $240.00Walla Walla Valley Washington State
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
Iron, black olives, peppery herbs, and both red and black fruits all emerge from the 2019 Syrah Rockgarden Vineyard, a balanced, deep, medium to full-bodied beauty with fine tannins and just about flawless balance. Coming all from the Rockgarden Vineyard in the Rocks region of the Walla Walla Valley and 100% Syrah that was not destemmed and was brought up in 40% new barrel, it's drinking brilliantly today and will cruise in cold cellars for a decade. Best After 2022.

This refreshing wine has a citrine color and a clear appearance with a very delicate and slightly fruity aroma with notes of green apple, apricot and peach. On the palate this is a fresh, smooth and well-balanced wine. Jorge Ordonez 2021 Nisia Verdejo Old Vines
$14.99 – $150.00Rueda Spain
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Rating
All Verdejo, the 2021 Nisia is cut from the same cloth and has vibrant yellow fruits, citrus blossom, honeysuckle, and floral notes in its medium-bodied, clean, lively, pretty style. It's slightly fresher and more medium-bodied compared to the richer 2020. This cuvee spent 6 months in a mix of neutral puncheons and demi-muids.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Bordeaux Blend Papillon springs from the glass with plum preserves, baked blackcurrants and black mulberries with touches of menthol, tobacco leaf and pencil lead. Domaine du Pegau 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee da Capo
$299.99
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Rating
The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Da Capo is smoking good. Blackcurrants, lavender, garrigue, violets, cured meats and saddle leather all flow from this rich, unctuous, incredibly decadent 2015 that has sweet tannin, a huge mid-palate, and more concentration than just about every other wine in the vintage. -
