Merry Edwards 2022 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley
$49.99 – $270.00Mendocino County California
Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
This is the first vintage of the 2022 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley. Coming from three vineyards — Carney Ranch in Boonville, Dash Vineyard, and Pinoli Vineyard – it was aged for 10 months in 42% new French oak. It pours a medium ruby color and has a great mountainous feel, with lovely fresh herbs, wild raspberries, brambly herbs, wildflowers, and woodsy spices. Medium-bodied on the palate, it’s lovely and refined, with a clean, silky texture and a mouthwatering finish. It’s very attractive now but will improve over the next 7-8 years if given a chance.

Aromas of pineapple, guava, and gardenia. Lemon curd, pink grapefruit, and tangerine blossom form a delicate, creamy wave across the palate. Tropical flowers such as gardenia and plumeria play alongside honeyed pears, dotted with a salty, crisp seashell finish.

Merry Edwards Winery 2021 Meredith Estate Pinot Noir
$99.99 – $1,020.00Russian River Sonoma County California
Wine Enthusiast 96 Rating
This deep-garnet-colored wine is an exercise in enthusiasm. Raspberry, blackberry, cocoa and orange peel aromas on the nose are turned up to 11, while the saturated palate gives crème de cassis, licorice and fried shiitake flavors for minutes on end. This is Pinot that’s built for steak, lamb or mushroom dishes. Patience will be rewarded here, if you can resist the immediate charm.

Merry Edwards Winery 2022 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley
$59.99 – $624.00California
This appellation blend is at the core of our portfolio of wines and offers a complete portrait of the Russian River Valley. Five different clones grown in a variety of vineyards were individually fermented to produce the distinctive lots chosen for this wine. We first notice the beautiful garnet color followed by fragrances of vanilla cola, black raspberry, fresh thyme and plum compote. On entry, the mouthfeel is soft and lush, with notes of black cherry, plum, cassis and milk chocolate. Juicy acidity bonds with structured tannins and lifts the long, spicy finish.

Merryvale 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
$59.99 – $330.00California
Wine Spectator 93 Rating
This is textbook Napa Cabernet—ripe, forthright and well-defined, with cassis, bitter plum and blackberry fruit driving through over a racy graphite hint and lively savory notes. Reveals an alder toast accent on the finish. Rock-solid. Drink now through 2034. 3,516 cases made.

Merryvale 2019 Profile
$199.99 – $1,050.00Napa Valley California
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Rating
The flagship from Merryvale is the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Profile, a blend of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc that’s all from the estate vineyard and spent 23 months in 80% new barrels. Just classic Napa Valley Cabernet goodness, with lots of cassis and currant fruits, notes of spice, graphite, and chocolate, full-bodied richness, and great overall balance, it’s impeccably made and well worth seeking out. I can’t imagine it not evolving for 25+ years if well stored.

Merus 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
$124.99 – $660.00California
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Rating
A killer bottle of Napa Valley magic, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from Merus is 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot. It’s a powerful, full-bodied, uber-ripe beauty that stays lively and balanced, with beautiful blue fruits, as well as smoked tobacco, chocolate, and scored earth-like aromas and flavors. A beast of a wine with a great mid-palate and velvety tannins, it should shed its considerable baby fat over the coming 4-6 years and have two decades of overall longevity. R1-5 regular $179.99
