  • Caparzo 2013 Brunello di Montalcino

    $49.99

    Tuscany Italy
    Wine Spectator 95 Rating
This cuts more of a broad swath than its peers, yet remains graceful, evoking strawberry, cherry, tobacco and stony mineral flavors. Long and dense in structure, with a tobacco- and underbrush-tinged finish. Best from 2021 through 2033. R5-1

  • Chapelle St. Theodoric 2020 Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Guigasse

    $99.99

    Southern Rhone Valley France
    Wine Advocate 95-97 Rating
Scents of roses, garrigue and blackberries mark the nose of the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape La Guigasse, still aging in demi-muids at the time of my visit. It's one of those special wines that manages to be full-bodied and concentrated, yet also pillowy-soft, nearly ethereal in the mouth. A bit more tannic and stern on the finish than the 2020 Le Grand Pin, it finishes long, with a lingering note of licorice. 100% Grenache. R18-2

  • Camigliano 2010 Gualto Brunello di Montalcino Riserva

    $99.99

    Tuscany Italy
    Wine Spectator 96 Rating
A fluid, expressive style, full of cherry, plum, truffle, eucalyptus and tobacco flavors. Fine balance and a lively structure keep this focused and long on the finish. Decant now or cellar another year or two. Best from 2018 through 2032. R3-3

  • Altesino 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva

    $124.99

    Tuscany Italy
    Wine Spectator 97 Rating
Laced with ripe cherry, strawberry, floral, spice, iron and leather flavors, this red is complex and charming, yet with serious tannins that ply the structure and lift the long finish. The fine balance should facilitate longevity. R45-3

  • Aftermath 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon

    $79.99

    Napa Valley California
This 100% Estate-grown Cabernet offers up an amazing bouquet of classic dark Cabernet fruit that jumps out of the glass upon impact. This youngster is lush, full in bodied and surprisingly well-balanced. The wine is multi-layered loaded with gorgeous black currant, dark chocolate, a whiff of anise, cassis and a touch of spice on the opulent palate. Extremely well-balanced and in-sync wine that will please the big Cab lover. This is a killer wine, but unfortunately a very limited production. Winemaker Dave Phinney. BX-6

  • Sea Smoke 2020 Chardonnay Santa Rita Hills

    $79.99

    Santa Barbara County
An elegant Chardonnay with aromas of Meyer lemon zest, fresh cut melon and honeycomb. The nose is complemented by mandarin and a slight nuttiness in the focused mid-palate and the refreshing cool climate acidity of our estate vineyard. R37-3

  • Ferrari Carano 2019 Pinot Noir

This well-balanced, well-structured and handsomely complex wine emphasizes ripe plum and red-cherry flavors and accents them with subtle cinnamon, cedar and mint notes. Light tannins and a medium to full body lend a mouthfilling texture while lively acidity adds a fresh lift.

  • Turley 2016 Petite Sirah Hayne Vineyard Napa Valley

    $114.99

    California
    Wine Advocate 96 Rating
he 2016 Petite Syrah Hayne Vineyard is the most perfumed and elegant of Turley’s Petite Syrahs (they don’t spell it “Sirah”) this year, unfurling in the glass with a pure and fragrant bouquet of cassis, dark plums, rose petals and pencil lead. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, layered and multidimensional, with a deep core of vibrant, juicy fruit, satiny but abundant tannins and a long finish. It’s an exceptional wine from a singular vineyard. SP15-1

  • Napanook 2017 Red Blend

    $84.99

    Napa Valley California
    Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
The 2017 Napanook checks in 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot. It offers classy notes of cassis, black currants, toasted spices, and hints of flowers. With lots of chocolately richness, medium to full body, and beautifully ripe tannins, it's layered and has impressive depth of fruit, followed by a great finish. It's going to evolve for 15-20 years. It's an incredible value in classic, impeccably made Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. SP13-2
