Cask-aged for 14 months, the 2022 El Anden De La Estacion is a youthful, approachable blend of 65% Tempranillo and 35% Garnacha, the first one made in 2016. Fermented using indigenous yeast, it’s left on the lees to soften the texture and accentuate the red and black cherry and berry fruit. It’s quite delightful and impressively well-made for the price point, full-bodied but balanced.

Fresh and exquisite finish. This is a much more refined and harmonic rendition of their classic wine. Three years in French oak from their own production. Very enjoyable now, but this will improve with age for a long time. R41-4 -
Muga Prado Enea 2019 Gran Reserva

The grapes for Prado Enea are always the last to be harvested. This is because of the careful selection of high-altitude plots with a fine quality, located in the north-west of the Rioja Alta, in the villages of Sajazarra, Cellorigo and Fonzaleche. The grapes ferment in oak vats with no addition of yeast or temperature control. The maceration period is for 16 days. This is followed by a minimum 36 months in French and American oak casks. At the end of the cask ageing the wine is lightly fined with egg whites before bottling and is then stored in our cellars for at least another 36 months, in order to complete the ageing process.
