Sinewy, earthy and full of spice, this well-made wine is lush and sumptuous, with firm, focused tannins and integrated oak. Black cherry, cinnamon and nutmeg meld on the structured, fullbodied palate, with a graceful hint of dark chocolate on the finish. This will do well in the cellar; enjoy 2025 – 2030. R6-2

51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 13% Malbec, 9% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc. Lush, layered and complex, this Bordeaux blend begins with concentrated aromas of black cherry, boysenberry, and dark chocolate. As the wine evolves in the glass, notes of anise, clove and bay leaf emerge, creating an inviting combination of fruit and spice. On the palate, a creamy texture underscores the wine’s richness, while accentuating flavors of ripe plum, vanilla, and roasted coffee that glide to a long, lingering finish. Chateau Pichon-Longueville Baron 2018 Pauillac
$249.99Bordeaux France
Jeb Dunnuck 97+ Rating
A beautiful, majestic Pauillac that reminds me a little of the 2000, the 2018 Château Pichon-Longueville Baron checks in as 78% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Merlot that was brought up in 80% new French oak. It shows the estate's more pure Cabernet, focused, elegant style yet offers full-bodied richness and serious depth of fruit as well as awesome notes of crème de cassis, graphite, lead pencil shavings, tobacco, and wet stone-like minerality. With building tannins, a fresh, focused texture, and a great finish, it's not for those looking for instant gratification, and I suspect it will need a solid decade or more of cellaring, but it will evolve for 50 years or more. It's a profound 2018. SP56-6 -

DeLille Cellars 2019 Chaleur Blanc
$39.99–$300.00Columbia Valley Washington State
Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
One of the best Bordeaux Blanc blends coming out of Washington, the 2019 Chaleur Blanc checks in as 69% Sauvignon Blanc and 31% Semillon that was barrel fermented and aged in 60% new oak. Honeyed grapefruit, white flowers, sappy, green herbs, and a kiss of minerality all define the bouquet, and this beauty is medium-bodied, with a beautifully balanced, concentrated mouthfeel and a great finish. It ranks with the top examples of this cuvée I've tasted.

Faust 2016 The Pact Cabernet Sauvignon
$69.99–$330.00Napa Valley California
Wine Advocate 95 Rating
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon The Pact is made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 19 months in 50% new French oak. Deep garnet-purple colored, it reveals bold red and black currants scents with touches of crushed rocks, new leather, fried herbs, rose hip tea and wood smoke plus a hint of incense. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers and rock-solid structure of firm, ripe, grainy tannins framing the muscular fruit, finishing very long and mineral laced.

The 2016 The Big Easy checks in as a blend of 57% Syrah, 31% Petite Sirah, and 12% Grenache brought up in French and American oak (61% new). It's always an uber-ripe, pleasure-bent effort and the 2016 is no exception, although it has a beautiful weightlessness and elegance about it as well. Blackcurrants, camphor, scorched earth, licorice, and spice notes all emerge from this medium to full-bodied, beautifully balanced, delicious red that packs ample fruit and texture. Don't age it, drink it. BRKBuy this by the 6pk for $26.99 per bottle

Opaque ruby. Deep-pitched black and blue fruit, floral pastille, olive and smoky mineral character on the nose. Sweet, spicy and penetrating on the palate, offering juicy blueberry and cherry cola flavors underscored by a peppery quality that adds back-end spiciness and cut. Youthfully firm tannins add shape to the finish, which hangs on with impressive, dark-berry-driven tenacity. PRGBuy this by the 6pk for $25.99 per bottle
