The 2023 Tensley All Blocks Red Wine is a blend from California, consisting of 80% Grenache, 19% Syrah, and 1% Mourvedre. Jeb Dunnuck describes it as an aromatic, open knit, and quite accessible wine, with Grenache driving the blend. The wine is medium to full-bodied, has a pure, layered mouthfeel, fine tannins, and a great finish. It features red and black fruits, new leather, herbes de Provence, and spicy, subtle peppery notes, defining the aromatics. The wine is approachable now but will age well over the next 8 to 10 years.
