I love the transparency and purity of this wine. Pouring a bright red color, the 2018 Chianti Classico Riserva is packed with raspberry liqueur, fresh rose perfume, sweet herbs, and cedar. Medium-bodied, it is gorgeous with ultra-fine tannins, an elegant feel, and a Burgundian sensibility. It’s a very pretty wine with balanced, fresh acidity, and its fruit lasts through the finish. Gorgeous. Drink 2024-2040.
