This wine belongs to the highest class of white wines from the Loire. The Joseph Mellot winery has been owned by the Mellot family since 1513. The wine has a perfect golden yellowish color. The aroma smells of grilled almonds, candied fruit and honey. On the palate, it is clean, fresh with still living acidity, with a full body and a long closure. This wine is bottled in Old French bottles with a massive bulge of the bottom.
