Put your nose in the glass and you will be greeted with lime, clementine, quince and a symphony of white flowers. Its fresh taste comes especially with citrus, white peach, passion fruit, plus undertones of fresh hazelnuts and brioche. Excellent. -
Jean Manciat 2020 Macon-Charnay Maconnais
$16.99 – $168.00Burgundy France
Made from old vines and hand harvested (a tradition totally lost around here except at the best Mâcon estates). The wine featured here is made in stainless-steel vats, to express the fruity, floral aromas and flinty minerality that characterize the best Chardonnay in the region. This wine pairs incredibly well with rich salads, chicken dishes or an after-dinner cheese and fruit platter.

Jean-Louis Chave Selection 2018 Crozes-Hermitage Silene
$34.99Northern Rhone Valley France
Vinous 93 Rating
Inky ruby. Pungent, mineral-accented black and blue fruit qualities on the nose, along with hints of olive, licorice and peony that build in the glass. Supple and weighty on the palate, offering expansive blackberry and boysenberry flavors that become firmer with air. The floral note comes back strong on the penetrating finish, which shows outstanding persistence and fine-grained, well-knit tannins. 60% of this fruit was sourced from the granitic soils and steep slopes in the northern sector of the appellation and the other 40% came from the south, where the soils are lighter, based mostly on limestone clay and covered in large alluvial stones and smaller river rocks. Jean-Marc Brocard 2020 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses
$99.99 – $510.00Burgundy France
Enjoyabilityfactor 95 Rating
The Les Preuses Grand Cru site is located on a geological ‘amphitheater’ created by the Vaudésir valley. The vines are planted to a southeastern exposure, receiving heaps of sunshine to aid in ripening. The sub-soil offers a harmonious combination of compact clay and calcareous soils.
Aromatically the wine is intensely floral and stone fruit-driven, with quince, Asian pears, yellow apples, jasmine, and honeysuckle lifting from the glass. On the palate, there is a luxurious creaminess to the wine, with a final note of bracing minerality to balance it out.
