Chateau Fage is situated on the banks of the Dordogne in the Graves de Vayres appellation, facing the prestigious appellations of Saint-Emilion, Pomerol and Fronsac. Recently acquired by the Glotin family, the estate is one the referent chateau of the appellation, for the quality of its wines, as well as its capacity to produce substantial volumes. Lively plum and cherry fruit is mixed with a brambly hint. Savory and bay accents on the finish.

The 2017 Mas Donis Old Vines is a blend of 50% Garnacha, 30% Cariñena and 20% Syrah fermented separately in stainless steel, and the Syrah and Cariñena matured in barrique until the components were blended before bottling in June 2019. It's a heady Mediterranean red blend—generous and round with a pretty floral nose and the aromatic power of the partial carbonic maceration. It has a juicy texture, clean, fruit-driven flavors and a textured mouthfeel. An incredible bargain. Only 5,000 bottles produced.

While Mâcon is known for its fresh, simple whites, recent investment by top Burgundian producers has resulted in more conscientious winemaking. The grapes were hand-picked in early September then pressed direct, settled overnight, and fermented with indigenous yeast in seasoned barriques. This wine is matured for 12-14 months prior to bottling. From two mature vineyards in La Roche Vineuse, this is a classic white Burgundy with a nose of lemon sorbet, tangerine zest with nuances of wild honey. The textured mid-palate shows flavors of lightly grilled citrus and stone fruit while a long line of vibrant acidity enlivens the finish..
