Chateau Lascombes 2010 Red Blend Margaux
$119.99 – $660.00Bordeaux France
Jeb Dunnuck 96 Rating
The 2010 Château Lascombes is flat-out gorgeous and might be the finest vintage from this château I’ve tasted. Based on 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot that was raised in 90% new French oak, it has a dense purple/plum hue as well as a blockbuster-like style in its darker currants, cassis, smoky tobacco, incense, and graphite aromas and flavors. Beautifully textured, full-bodied, dense, and concentrated, but still graceful and beautifully balanced, it’s clearly in its prime drinking window yet has another 2-3 decades of overall longevity. It is impossible to resist today. SP51-6

E. Guigal 2020 Condrieu La Doriane
$119.99 – $660.00Northern Rhone Valley France
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Rating
Just about pure perfection and one of the finest Condrieu to pass my lips, the 2020 Condrieu La Doriane offers an insane bouquet of grilled pineapple, charcoal, crushed stone, acacia flowers, and white peach. It picks up an incredibly sense of salinity on the palate and is full-bodied, has blockbuster concentration, remarkable purity and focus, and a great finish. I like this beast/beauty today, but it will keep for a decade. SPB10-6

Merus 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
$124.99 – $660.00California
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Rating
A killer bottle of Napa Valley magic, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from Merus is 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot. It’s a powerful, full-bodied, uber-ripe beauty that stays lively and balanced, with beautiful blue fruits, as well as smoked tobacco, chocolate, and scored earth-like aromas and flavors. A beast of a wine with a great mid-palate and velvety tannins, it should shed its considerable baby fat over the coming 4-6 years and have two decades of overall longevity. R1-4 regular $179.99

Ceretto 2019 Barbaresco
$64.99 – $660.00Piedmont Italy
Wine Advocate 95 Rating
The organic Ceretto 2019 Barbaresco Bernadot shows a broader character and a more open-knit personality compared to the Asili. There is a lot of dark fruit, spice, truffle and earth to frame the medium-build of this elegant wine.

Toil 2021 Pinot Noir
$59.99 – $660.00Willamette Valley Oregon
Wine Enthusiast 92 Rating
If you are sauvage averse, steer clear, as this excellent wine brings the full George Clinton P-Funk experience. Blackberries, earth, violets and roasted meat set a proper mood for flavors of blueberries, gingerbread and a woody combination of cedar and balsa. Beautifully balanced, with lemony acidity and silky tannins.

$59.99 – $660.00Napa Valley California
This Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a beautiful bouquet of dark fruit, warm oak spice, and floral notes. Flavors of wild blackberry, dark chocolate, and candied orange rinds lead to violet characteristics with hints of earthiness. The well structured tannins frame the palate for a silky finish.

Poggio Scalette 2017 Alta Valle della Greve Il Carbonaione
$59.99 – $660.00Tuscany Italy
Wine Spectator 95 Rating
An alluring array of blackberry, black cherry and violet aromas introduces this supple, elegant red. Spice, mineral and tobacco elements emerge, along with firm, refined tannins, but this is all about the pure fruit. Shows terrific harmony and length. Sangiovese. Best from 2022 through 2040. SP46-6

IL Poggione 2019 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Vigna Paganelli
$129.99 – $660.00Tuscany Italy
Antonio Galloni's Vinous 98 Rating
Brooding and balsamic, the 2019 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Vigna Paganelli is a dark stallion of a wine with a bouquet to meditate to, wafting up exotic spices, flint, incense, dried roses, black cherries and hints of ashen stone. It’s racy yet complex and sensual, with silken textures and masses of mineral-inflected red berry fruits, all guided by a core of zesty acidity as a tinge of sour citrus adds tension throughout. Pleasantly chewy yet still mouthwatering, the 2019 leaves a web of fine tannins, along with a hint of orange zest and cloves to linger on and on and on. This is drop-dead gorgeous.
