  • Domaine de La Charbonnière 2015 Vacqueyras Cuvée Spéciale

    $34.99

    Southern Rhone Valley France
    Jeb Dunnuck 93 Rating
The 2015 Vacqueyras Cuvée Spéciale is another blockbuster. Made from 100% Grenache that was 70% destemmed and aged in oak tanks, it offers terrific notes of kirsch, dried herbs, ground pepper and loads of loamy soil/sandy aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, balanced and with beautiful tannin quality, drink it anytime over the coming decade. SP36-2

  • Patz & Hall 2021 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay

    $34.99$396.00

    Russian River Valley Sonoma California
    Decanter Magazine 95 Rating
This Patz & Hall Chardonnay immediately gives the scent of golden kiwis and sponge cake with a marshmallow topper. It’s medium—to full-bodied with a chalky finish and great acid backbone. The Chardonnay has surprising flavours that are seemingly unrelated but meld fantastically together. It’s a surprising juxtaposition that adds dimension.

  • DeLille Cellars 2019 Chaleur Blanc

    $34.99

    Columbia Valley Washington State
    Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
One of the best Bordeaux Blanc blends coming out of Washington, the 2019 Chaleur Blanc checks in as 69% Sauvignon Blanc and 31% Semillon that was barrel fermented and aged in 60% new oak. Honeyed grapefruit, white flowers, sappy, green herbs, and a kiss of minerality all define the bouquet, and this beauty is medium-bodied, with a beautifully balanced, concentrated mouthfeel and a great finish. It ranks with the top examples of this cuvée I've tasted. R21-1

  • Gregory James 2018 Carreras Ranch Old Vine Zinfandel

    Dry Creek Valley Sonoma County
    Enjoyabilityfactor 94 Rating
Aromas of opulent black cherry and plum are complimented by clove, cinnamon, and vanilla, with savory hints of black pepper and coriander. The dynamic aromas are mirrored on the palate with touches of anise and citrus peel. The wine is rich yet soft with a finish that entices another sip. Aged for 19 months in French Oak (30% New) and only 150 cases made.

  • Eberle 2021 Zinfandel

    $34.99$180.00

    Paso Robles California
    Wine Enthusiast 92 Rating
From this storied producer comes a newer, fresh style of Zinfandel, sources from three vineyards. Aromas of blackberry jam, wet stone and cracked pepper make for a complex nose. The palate is tense in structure, with creamy flavors of boysenberry and more peppery spice.

  • Podere Castorani 2017 Montepulciano D’Abruzzo Riserva

    $34.99$324.00

    Marche Italy
    James Suckling 92 Rating
Lots of ripe black fruit with a smoky edge. Dried violets, too. Full-bodied with lots of charred oak to the fruit, but there’s enough blackberry there to give a long, savory fruit finish. No real complexity to the wine, but it’s well constructed. The riserva oak makes it feel bigger than it actually is. Drinkable now, but will hold for a few years, too.
