  • Hartford Court 2022 Land’s Edge Pinot Noir

    $39.99$222.00

    Sonoma Coast California
    Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
From the far Sonoma Coast, the 2022 Pinot Noir Land’s Edge Vineyards was aged for 9 months in 32% new French oak barrels. In the glass, it displays a medium ruby color and offers expressive notes of red berries, cranberries, and juniper. There’s a good bit of reduction initially that benefits from a little air at this stage, but it starts to reveal darker notes as it opens, so I would recommend decanting if opening it on the young side. The palate has a wonderful, compact feel, with refreshing lift, fine tannins, and a snappy finish. I personally enjoy the bright and coiled energy that comes through in this one.

  • Hartford Court 2022 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley

    $29.99$336.00

    California
    Jeb Dunnuck 93 Rating
Pouring a deeper ruby/magenta color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is ripe and layered in the glass, with a generous, inviting, pure perfume of black cherries, cola, sweet baking spice, and forest floor. Medium-bodied, it has a lot of charm and a good, weightless feel, with fine tannins and a clean finish. I love that it never feels heavy but is 100% Russian River Valley in character. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. This is a lot of wine for the value. R5-6

  • Hartford Court 2023 Chardonnay Russian River Valley

    $19.99$108.00

    Sonoma County California
    Jeb Dunnuck 93 Rating
Another appellation wine, the 2023 Chardonnay Russian River Valley is a bright golden yellow color and offers notes of poached yellow apples, toasted spice, almond, chamomile, and lemon curd. The palate is full-bodied and elegant, as is characteristic of this vintage, and has an even and floating feel on the finish. It’s ripe and has a more pithy texture, but it’s well-detailed and more immediate. Well-suited for restaurants, it should drink well now or over the coming 5-6 years.

Nice herbs, olives with a hint of savory anchovies, blackcurrants and tobacco to the nose. Juicy and bright with fine, present tannins on a medium- to full-bodied palate. Nicely flattering and fruit-forward, too.

  • Harvey & Harriet 2021 Red Blend

    $20.99$240.00

    San Luis Obispo County California
    Jeb Dunnuck 93 Rating
The 2021 Red Blend comes all from purchased fruit (mostly from Paso Robles) and it’s a smoking good blend based on Bordeaux varieties that tastes like it costs three times the price. Cassis, graphite, violets, and classy oak define the aromatics, and it’s beautifully balanced, medium to full-bodied, has a ripe, layered mouthfeel, and a great finish. Don’t miss this crazy value in Bordeaux blends from California!

  • Harvey & Harriet 2021 White Blend

    $29.99$150.00

    Central Coast California
    Wine Advocate 95 Rating
The 2021 White Blend, a blend of Albariño, Chardonnay, Viognier and Pinot Gris, has intense aromas of peach, lemongrass, fresh citrus, honey and flint, opening to new aromatic nuances with each return to the glass. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with perfumed fruit, loaded with juicy acidity, and it finishes with a touch of anchoring texture. It's a delicious yet serious white with alluring generosity that keeps you coming back for more.

  • Haynes Vineyard 2021 ‘Forgeron’ Syrah Coombsville

    $149.99$750.00

    Napa Valley California
    Antonio Galloni 96 Rating
The 2021 Syrah Forgeron emerges from a block planted in 2000. Rich, deep and layered in the glass, the 2021 is so inviting. Here, too, the stems (100%) are impeccably balanced within the wine’s frame. Readers will find a potent yet delicate Syrah with a good deal of floral and spice notes, but less in the way of savory/peppery impressions.

  • Heinz Eifel Beerenauslese (375 ml)

    $19.99$210.00

    Rheinhessen Germany
100% Silvaner, ‘Beerenauslese (literally “individual berry selection”) is a wine made from hand-selected individual grapes that have been affected by botrytis cinerea or ‘noble rot’, a fungus that dehydrates the berries and adds a unique honeyed flavor to the wines. This rare condition in the vineyard allows for the extraction of very concentrated flavors and sugars in the tiny amount of dehydrated juice of the affected grapes. The resulting wine is extremely rich, dense and viscous with a unique profile. Often, Beerenauslese is called ‘BA’ for short.

Structured and powerful with chewy and firm tannins with a light vanilla and currant undertone. Full bodied. Juicy and savory. Luscious and intense yet polished. Tension, energy and wonderful length and brightness. Drinkable but needs another three to four years to come around. R4-4 SP26-2
