Domaine Drouhin 2023 Arthur Chardonnay
$43.99 – $222.00Dundee Hills Oregon
Chardonnay Arthur opens to a classic bouquet of white flowers, Anjou pear, and golden apple. The palate is nuanced and balanced, with a sense of minerality and honeyed lemon zest. Small berries and strict selection at harvest resulted in the intensity of flavors on display. Arthur combines strength and finesse, has nice acidity, and features a medium-long finish that will likely expand as the wine ages over the next 7-10 years.

Sourced from the Historic Frediani Vineyard in Calistoga, this Zin spends 24 months in oak. The few extra years in the bottle has turned out a stunner in this Zin which could even evolve another 10 years. This is a Cabernet lovers Zin! It's full of black raspberry fruit and a lavish texture on the palate. This is certainly a diamond in the rough!

Chateau Suduiraut 2018 Sauternes 375 ml
$44.99Bordeaux
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
There’s not much of the 2018 Château Suduiraut to go around but it’s a beautiful wine. Lovely orange blossom, honeyed apricots, white flowers, and subtle spice aromas and flavors all emerge from this full-bodied, decadent Sauternes that has a layered, pure, beautifully balanced profile. With good complexity, terrific balance, and a clean finish, it’s going to shine for 15-20 years. Wall-1 -

The 2017 Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia is incredibly polished and sophisticated. Silky tannins give the 2017 its racy, sleek personality. Over the last year, the 2017 has really settled into a gorgeous place. There is plenty of vintage 2017 intensity, but Rancia is distinctly medium in body and restrained. The wilder side of Sangiovese, one of the signatures of Rancia and Fèlsina more broadly, tastes a bit baked out. I can’t wait to see how the 2017 develops over the coming years and decades.

Pronounced vanilla and full black cherries on the nose. Quite a generous, fleshy wine for this appellation in 2016. Rather soft tannins add a touch of warmth at the finish, balancing the cool acidity. Good length and harmony at the moderately dry finish. A blend of 70 per cent merlot and 30 per cent cabernet sauvignon.

Eden Rift Vineyards 2017 Pinot Noir Estate
$44.99 – $468.00Cienega Valley California
Wine Advocate 91 Rating
Grapes for this were harvested September 5, 14 and 21 and the wine aged 10 months in 20% new French oak. Pale ruby, the 2017 Pinot Noir Estate has very pretty scents of gravel dust, fresh cranberries, strawberry-rhubarb, cinnamon stick and dried leaves with notes of tar, dried citrus peel and lilac. It’s light to medium-bodied and restrained but nuanced with a gentle texture and mouthwatering freshness on the bright finish. Such a lovely, lifted style..
