  • Lopez De Heredia 2012 Vina Tondonia Reserva

    $44.99$240.00

    Rioja Spain
    Decanter Magazine 94 Rating
After six years in barrel (produced at López de Heredia’s own cooperage) and three in bottle prior to release this is all you can expect from a classical Viña Tondonia with its focused intensity and muscular yet super elegant tannins. Assertive but also super silky, with juicy fruit gliding through the palate while being pleasantly pulled back by an energetic, smoky verve. Broody while at the same time mature – another accomplished vintage of a true classic.

This wine opens with forward aromas of black cherry, allspice, thyme and black tea. The palate sits with gravitas and purpose with dark berries at its core followed by forest floor, truffle and a chalky minerality. Drink now–2040. R18-6

  • Elk Cove 2022 Pinot Noir Mount Richmond

    Wine Spectator 94 Rating
Rich yet graceful and well-knit, with lilting flavors of raspberry and blackberry that take on clove and tobacco accents as this builds structure and polish toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2032. 1,187 cases made. SP9-6

  • Elk Cove 2021 Pinot Noir Clay Court Vineyard

    $44.99

    Willamette Valley Oregon
    Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
Deep ruby, the 2021 Pinot Noir Clay Court is layered with floral and spice notes as well as black raspberry liqueur, anise, mossy earth, and cracked pepper. Medium to full-bodied, with an elegant mouthfeel and a beautiful texture, it offers fine tannins and a silky, clean, rounded palate of fruit. Long on the palate and very well-balanced, it’s hard to resist now, but I imagine this will improve over the next 6-8 years. SP8-6

  • Joseph Drouhin 2021 Pouilly-Fuisse

    $47.99$540.00

    Burgundy France
A seductive wine and a really nice expression of the Chardonnay grape! The colour is golden, with some green reflections. Among the floral and fruity aromas, almond and ripe grapes dominate. On the palate, the wine is refreshingly pleasant, ethereal in its lightness. Long and refreshing aftertaste.

  • McPrice Myers 2021 Beautiful Earth Cabernet Sauvignon

    $49.99$276.00

    Paso Robles California
    Wine Advocate 96 Rating
The 2021 Beautiful Earth Cabernet Sauvignon is scented of maraschino cherries, allspice, rose petals, bay leaves and pencil shavings, gaining in aromatic intensity as it unwinds in the glass. The full-bodied palate has a deep core of fruit yet is light on its feet, with fireworks of fresh acidity and abundant, finely grained tannins, and it has a long, layered finish. It will gain savory complexity in bottle over the next 15+ years.
