Cantina del Taburno 2015 Bue Apis Aglianico del Taburno
$119.99Campania Italy
The Bue Apis is produced exclusively from grapes Aglianico from a century-old vineyard located in the district “Pantanella” at about 1000 meters from the Taburno cellar. This testifies to the ancient vineyard presence of Aglianico the slopes of Mount Taburno. The vinification of grapes from it obtained, the so-called original clone Aglianico bitter, is one of the paths that the Cantina del Taburno has undertaken to highlight the extraordinary potential of this ancient grape variety. Peter Michael Winery 2020 Chardonnay La Carriere
$119.99Knights Valley Sonoma California
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
On the nose, the 2020 Chardonnay La Carriere is flush with sunny primary fruit of peach, ripe pineapple, and flinty minerality. The body is full, with a glycerin-rich mouthfeel, and ripe with cantaloupe, custard, and lemon candy. Drink this over the next 10 or more years. R43-1 -
Domaine de Chevalier 2010 Bordeaux Blend
$119.99Pessac Leognan Bordeaux
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
The 2010 Domaine de Chevalier is still a baby, yet with air, offers tons of pleasure. Black currants, truffle, scorched earth, and licorice aromas and flavors all give way to a big, concentrated, unctuous beauty that has ample sweetness to its tannin, a stacked mid-palate, and a blockbuster finish. A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot, it needs an hour in a decanter if drinking anytime soon, and certainly has another two decades of longevity in front of it. It’s a sensational bottle of wine. R12-2 -
Paul Hobbs 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon
$119.99Napa Valley California
Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
The base release is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon and it comes from multiple sites throughout the valley. It’s a killer wine and offers the classic sweet crème de cassis and blackberry fruit that's the hallmark of the vintage. With loads of richness, notes of Asian spices, pencil lead and cedar, full-bodied richness, and sweet tannin, it's already drinking beautifully yet will keep for another two decades or more. SP26-1 -

Wine Advocate 94+ Rating
Composed of 81% Cabernet Sauvingon, 15% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Apassionata has an inky purple-black color and conjures notions of crème de cassis, chocolate box and aniseed with hints of chargrilled meat, fertile earth and menthol. Full-bodied and full-on opulent in the mouth, it features seductively rich, ripe fruit with a solid frame and a long, expressive finish. R37-5 regular $184.99 -
Chateau Talbot 2019 Saint-Julien
$119.99Bordeaux France
Wine Spectator 95 Rating
Well-built and rather refined for the vintage, with a deep well of red and black currant paste and plum reduction flavors supported by a deeply inlaid iron note, all of which run the length of the wine. Offers subtle savory, tobacco and singed cedar notes that add range, with a savory echo that leaves a mouthwatering feel in the end. Built to cellar. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Best from 2025. SP-BX12 -
Domaine Raymond Usseglio & Fils 2019 Chateauneuf Du Pape Les Apotres
$119.99Southern Rhone Valley France
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Rating
A relatively new cuvée that encompasses all the permitted varieties of the appellation and is brought up in amphora, the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Apotres offers a beautiful perfume of black raspberry and blackberry fruits interwoven with loads of spring flowers, white truffle, spice, and sappy garrigue aromas and flavors. This beauty is seamless, medium to full-bodied, and my money is on it being the finest vintage for this cuvée to date. BX-6 -

Winemaker Peter Heitz commemorates each vintage by creating a blend of the best elements that each of the four estate vineyards saw that year. The 2014 vintage is opulent, structured, harmonious and balanced, full of red and black fruits, spice, and richness. Cheers to the Good Life! -
