  • Chateau Lynch-Bages 2020 Pauillac

    $164.99

    Bordeaux France
    James Suckling 99 Rating
beautifully layered red with blackcurrant, hazelnut and lead-pencil character and fine, velvety tannins. Full-bodied and reserved. It’s like a tightly knit ball of polished tannins that are cashmere in texture. So very long and impressive. Give this time. A terrific Lynch. Better after 2027. SP56-2 SPBX-12

  • Stonestreet 2017 Rockfall Vineyard Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

The Rockfall Vineyard is between 2,000 and 2,200-feet in elevation, and the wine that originates there is powerful and concentrated in style, with robust red-fruit and mineral tones. Herbal and classic, it shows elegance and integrated oak and tannin within its context of intensity and structure. Enjoy best from 2027–2037.

Deeply colored, the 2018 Château D'Armailhac is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot brought up in 40% new barrels. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Tench Vineyard is deep garnet-purple in color, exploding with crème de cassis, blackberry pie and fruitcake notes, plus hints of Chinese five spice and fragrant earth. Full-bodied, rich and plush in the mouth, the generous, spicy black fruits fan out long and layered on the finish.

  • Anakota 2019 Helena Montana Cabernet Sauvignon

    $169.99$870.00

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Helena Montana, from chalk soils with western-facing exposition, is the most exuberant in terms of its aromatics, with candied flowers, cherry liqueur, sweet tobacco, and graphite. The fruit fills the palate up front and through the mid-palate, with a refreshing spine of acidity and great mineral texture. The tannins are ripe and well-integrated. This is a delicious wine out of the gate and will be worth holding onto and checking in on over the next 20 years. R24-5

  • Morlet 2018 Mon Chevalier Cabernet Sauvignon

    $169.99

    Knights Valley Sonoma County California
    Jeb Dunnuck 99 Rating
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Mon Chevalier comes from the Knights Valley, just north of Napa Valley in the larger Sonoma County, and it always seems to me to have one foot in Napa and one foot in Sonoma. Boasting a similar ruby/purple color (as do all of the releases here), it’s slightly more reserved and stately (knightly, if you will), with building aromas and flavors of blackcurrants, toasted bread, dried violets, baking spices, and loamy earth. These carry to a pure, full-bodied, multi-dimensional Cabernet that’s flawlessly balanced, has ripe yet certainly present tannins, a notable sense of minerality, and a great, great finish. It’s just another incredible wine from Luc Morlet that can be drunk today with ample pleasure or cellared for 20-30 years if, for some reason, you feel the need to delay gratification. SP25-6

  • La Jota 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain

    $169.99$900.00

    Napa Valley California
    Vinous 96 Rating
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is another superb wine from La Jota. Rich and explosive, the 2019 possesses tremendous density and plenty of mountain power. A rush of black cherry, blackberry, licorice, spice and menthol builds into the huge finish. This is a fabulous vintage for the La Jota Cabernet.

  • Aubert 2017 Pinot Noir UV Vineyard

    $169.99

    Sonoma Coast California
    Wine Advocate 95 Rating
The 2017 Pinot Noir UV Vineyard is medium ruby-purple colored with exuberant redcurrants, black cherries and black raspberries notes with hints of violets, chocolate box and rose hip tea. The palate is full-bodied with a firm frame of fine-grained tannins and amazing freshness, finishing very long and juicy. R1-1 SP5-2

  • Antica Terra 2017 Botanica Pinot Noir

    $169.99

    Willamette Valley Oregon
Botanica is an expression of the fecundity and fertility of the flora of this place. It tends towards sappy, sanguine, with a taste of wild rose, sour cherries, and blood orange. It is tempting to define it solely by its compelling texture and lush personality, but there is a structural element that is equally striking. This balance between extraordinary concentration and pronounced tension is the essence of the wine. R45-1
