Manuel Olivier 2020 Bourgogne Blanc
$24.99 – $240.00Burgundy France
A nose with aromas of pear, white peach and flint. On the palate, a fresh and elegant attack, giving way to the balance and fullness of the Chardonnay; then, on the finish, to the mineral power typical of its terroir. This wine can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, and also goes well with fish, seafood, and poultry in cream.

Bouchard Pere & Fils 2021 Beaune 1er Cru Du Chateau
$49.99 – $240.00Beaune Burgundy France
Wine Advocate 91 Rating
Bursting with aromas of raspberries, sweet spices and deep soil tones, the 2021 Beaune 1er Cru du Château is medium-bodied, ample and charming, with lively acids, melting tannins and a saline finish. This high-quality, comparatively accessible bottling is always reliable, though I confess I’d love to see some of the great parcels that go into it as standalone cuvées.

Racines 2021 Pinot Noir Santa Rita Hills Cuvee
$44.99 – $240.00Santa Barbara County California
Wine Spectator 94 Rating
Shows nicely coiled energy, with a core of black cherry, mulberry and plum fruit allied to racy acidity, which carries through on the iris- and anise-tinged finish. A subtle, smoldering earth accent hangs in the background, leaving a flinty echo. Drink now through 2033. 1,165 cases made. SP4-6

Brilliant, straw yellow with green highlights. Perlage is fine and persistent. A fresh and elegant aroma from which the fragrance of wildflowers comes to the forefront alongside delicate nuances of apples and pears. The harmony of the bouquet is fully realized by the taste; a savory, rich, fine and versatile sip.

Hess 2022 Lion Tamer Red
$44.99 – $240.00Napa Valley California
James Suckling 92 Rating
A wonderfully layered, suave and creamy red that’s so easy to sip and enjoy now. This is largely due to the 60% malbec grapes in this blend, that when blended with zinfandel give a smoothness in texture, a deep color and what winemaker Stephanie Pope calls a blueberry pie effect. Full-bodied, rich in fine-grained tannins and broad in a chocolaty, slightly jammy way. Drink now.
