  • Delas Freres 2010 La Landonne Côte Rôtie

    $224.99

    Northern Rhone Valley France
    Wine Advocate 98 Rating
Up with some of the greatest Cote Roties out there is Delas's 2010 Cote Rotie la Landonne. Revealing an inky purple color as well as an incredible perfume of spring flowers, violets, black raspberries, graphite and Asian spice, it has drop-dead gorgeous purity, full-bodied richness and a seamless, layered texture that fails to completely cover the wine's underlying tannic grip. Made from 100% Syrah and aged 16 months in new French oak, hide bottles in the cellar for another 4-5 years and enjoy them over the following three decades. SP35-4

  • DeLille Cellars 2019 Chaleur Blanc

    $34.99

    Columbia Valley Washington State
    Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
One of the best Bordeaux Blanc blends coming out of Washington, the 2019 Chaleur Blanc checks in as 69% Sauvignon Blanc and 31% Semillon that was barrel fermented and aged in 60% new oak. Honeyed grapefruit, white flowers, sappy, green herbs, and a kiss of minerality all define the bouquet, and this beauty is medium-bodied, with a beautifully balanced, concentrated mouthfeel and a great finish. It ranks with the top examples of this cuvée I've tasted. R21-1

  • Denner Vineyards 2018 Dirt Worshipper

    $79.99

    Central Coast California
    Wine Advocate 96 Rating
The 2018 Dirt Worshipper Syrah, blended with a 1% splash each of Roussanne and Viognier, is a stunning Syrah, with an opaque ruby-purple color and a powerhouse nose that's fierce and wild: iron, black licorice, tar, chargrill and coffee emerge along with sparks of white pepper and intense cassis-like fruit. The palate is incredible, exploding with flavor but grounded with round, plush tannins and loads of juicy uplift that carries the long finish. It evolved over many days after the cork was popped, which suggests it will age gracefully in the cellar over the next 15+ years. 1,298 cases produced. SP15-1

  • Devil Proof 2021 Cima Ladera Red Blend Farrow Ranch

    $249.99

    Alexander Valley Sonoma County California
    Wine Advocate 98 Rating
The 2021 Farrow Ranch Cima Ladera is a brand-new wine from Devil Proof. It comes from vines planted in 1989 at Farrow Ranch in Alexander Valley, which winemaker Jesse Katz acquired in 2021. “I’ve been trying to get into this vineyard block for years,” he exclaims. “I had to purchase the vineyard to get it!” It’s a blend of 65% Malbec and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and was matured for 22 months in 90% new French oak. It has ringing scents of maraschino cherries and blueberries with accents of bitter chocolate, spearmint, vanilla, lilac and aniseed, offering up new nuances with each return to the glass. The full-bodied palate is lovely! It balances tremendously concentrated flavors with bright acidity and velvety tannins, and it has a very long finish with a fan of spicy accents. This is fantastically expressive and so singular! Only 580 cases were made. SP29-3

  • Domain Jean Francois 2020 Pinot Noir The Twelve Rows from Sanford & Benedict Vineyard

    $99.99

    Santa Rita Hills California
    Wine Advocate 98 Rating
The 2020 Sanford & Benedict Pinot Noir The Twelve Rows is a fantastic wine with tremendous flavor-to-weight ratio. Medium ruby, the nose blossoms continually from dried red cherries, strawberries and raspberries to wafts of graphite, woodsmoke, bergamot, tea leaves and violet. The medium-bodied palate’s flavors echo all those lovely aromatics, offering wave after wave of perfumed red fruit. It has abundant, finely grained tannins and is bursting with refreshing acidity that continues to call you back to the glass on the hauntingly long finish. This is the first iteration of Twelve Rows Pinot Noir that was made with destemmed fruit; generally, it is vinified with 40-60% whole clusters. It has resulted in a pure, layered expression.

  • Domaine Aurelien Verdet 2019 Hautes Cotes de Nuits Le Prieure

    $49.99

    Côte-de-Nuits Burgundy France
    Wine Advocate 92 Rating
Bursting from the glass with notes of sweet berries, petals, peonies and raw cocoa, the 2019 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Le Prieuré is medium to full-bodied, velvety and charming, with lively acids, melting tannins and a succulent, spice-inflected finish. Deeper than the 2017 and more elegant than the 2018, this gets my nod as the finest Le Prieuré of the three. SP1-1

  • Domaine Bernard & Thierry Glantenay 2015 Volnay Les Santenots 1er Cru

    $99.99

    Burgundy France
    Vinous 93 Rating
The 2015 Volnay 1er Cru shows a lot of reduction on the nose that makes the fruit and terroir difficult to read at the moment. The palate probably indicates the potential more than the aromatics, offering brambly red and black fruit, a sprinkle of white pepper and hints of dried orange peel toward the refined, persistent finish. This certainly requires time in bottle but the potential is here. Patience, please. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. SP1-1

  • Domaine Bouchard Pere et Fils 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin

    $79.99$420.00

    Burgundy France
    Enjoyabilityfactor 95 Rating
The 2020 Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils Gevrey-Chambertin is a captivating red wine that exudes the essence of its prestigious terroir. Upon first encounter, the nose is greeted by a harmonious blend of red and dark fruits, with ripe cherries and blackberries taking the lead, intertwined with subtle hints of dried herbs and a delicate floral undertone. As the wine graces the palate, its velvety texture envelops the senses, offering a symphony of flavors that mirror the aromas. The fruit character deepens and expands, revealing layers of raspberry, plum, and a touch of cranberry, all underscored by a subtle thread of earthiness that speaks to the wine's origins. The well-integrated tannins provide an elegant structure that supports the wine's profile without overpowering it, leading to a graceful and enduring finish. A judicious touch of oak adds a gentle layer of complexity, infusing hints of spice and vanilla that harmonize seamlessly with the fruit. The 2020 Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils Gevrey-Chambertin captures the essence of the vintage and the terroir, embodying the perfect balance between fruit expression, elegance, and depth. Whether savored on its own or paired with a range of culinary delights, this Gevrey-Chambertin is a true testament to Burgundy's winemaking heritage and will undoubtedly evolve beautifully with time. • Domaine de Chevalier 2010 Bordeaux Blend

    $119.99

    Pessac Leognan Bordeaux
    Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
The 2010 Domaine de Chevalier is still a baby, yet with air, offers tons of pleasure. Black currants, truffle, scorched earth, and licorice aromas and flavors all give way to a big, concentrated, unctuous beauty that has ample sweetness to its tannin, a stacked mid-palate, and a blockbuster finish. A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot, it needs an hour in a decanter if drinking anytime soon, and certainly has another two decades of longevity in front of it. It’s a sensational bottle of wine. R12-1
