  • Immortal Estate 2014 Impassible Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

    $299.99

    Sonoma County California
    Jeb Dunnuck 99 Rating
All from estate fruit, the 2014 Impassible Mountain is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that spent 27 months in 75% new French oak. It reveals a deeper ruby/purple color as well as a beautiful perfume of blackcurrants, mulled spice, graphite, crushed rock, and earth. Incredibly deep, full-bodied, and opulent, yet always with a sense of purity, minerality, and length, it's a monumental wine that builds on the palate, has ultra-fine tannins, no hard edges, and an awesome finish. • Immortal Estate 2016 Impassible Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

A smaller selection and also all Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2016 Impassible Mountain (28 months in 85% new French oak) offers more of everything and is a magical, blockbuster, yet ethereal styled Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma. With a kaleidoscopic array of crème de cassis, sagebrush, tobacco, cedar pencil, and awesome minerality, it has incredible concentration, full-bodied richness, and a skyscraper-like mouthfeel, yet it also stays weightless, elegant, and flawlessly balanced. There are few estates coming close to this level of quality in Sonoma with Cabernet Sauvignon, and if you want to taste pure perfection from Sonoma, try this wine! It’s still a baby, and I suspect it will need 8-10 years to hit maturity, but it's going to evolve for 30-40 years. R16-3

  • J. Bookwalter 2015 Volume 5 Cabernet Sauvignon

    $79.99

    Columbia Valley Washington State
    Wine Enthusiast 92 Rating
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine hails from the esteemed Dionysus Vineyard. Reserved aromas of fresh herbs, coffee, bittersweet chocolate, cherries, raspberries and plums are followed by plentiful dark fruit and chocolate flavors. It's all about subtlety and nuance, with enough structure to go the distance. R1-1 SP25-2

  • J. Davies 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon 3 liter

    $299.99

Diamond Mtn. District Napa Valley California
    Wine Enthusiast 94 Rating
This '06 continues the winery's recent successes in Cabernet. It’s a lush, opulent wine. In its youth the smoky oak stars, along with waves of blackberries, black currants, plums and a spicy, meaty note suggesting bacon. Beautiful now, although tight in tannins, it should develop bottle aromatics and complexities for at least the next six years.

  • Jacquesson Extra Brut Champagne Cuvée 744 NV

    $79.99$450.00

    France
    Wine Advocate 94 Rating
Disgorged in February 2021 with 0.75 grams per liter dosage, the NV Extra-Brut Cuvée No. 744 is based on the 2016 vintage. Exhibiting complex aromas of orange oil, crisp stone fruit, fenugreek and subtle hints of yellow Chartreuse, it's medium to full-bodied, pillowy and seamless, with terrific depth at the core, lively acids and a pinpoint mousse. Simultaneously vivid but replete with sapid nuance, this new release throws into relief all the work the Jacquesson brothers have made in the vineyards and cellar over the last two decades.

  • Jada Winery 2020 Jersey Girl Syrah

    $64.99$360.00

    Paso Robles California
The 2020 Jersey Girl embodies our love for not only blends but also co-fermentations. At the core of the blend is one of our darkest clones of Syrah, clone 383, and a co-fermentation of Syrah, Viognier, and Graciano harvested on the same day. Several other Syrah-based co-fermentations were blended into the Jersey Girl to add mid-palate richness, with color and spicy and earthy notes from the Graciano and Tannat. Overall about 7% of Syrah was fermented as whole cluster to add more spice, floral notes, and complex fruit aromatics.

The 2020 Passing By is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petite Sirah and 2% Merlot. It has a deep ruby-purple color and scents of cassis, pencil shavings, violet, dried herbs and aniseed. The full-bodied palate is soft and juicy with loads of jammy fruit and new oak, with vanilla, brown sugar and nutmeg lingering on the finish. It’s a good effort in a challenging vintage and lovers of ripe, oaked reds can enjoy this over the next 3-5 years.

  • Janzen 2016 Beckstoffer To-Kalon Cabernet Sauvignon

    $249.99

    Oakville Napa Valley California
    Wine Advocate 99 Rating
A barrel sample, the very deep purple-black colored 2016 Janzen Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a little closed at this nascent juncture, offering glimpses of warm blackberry and spice cake notions with hints of incense, garrigue and hoisin. Full-bodied, rich and seductive, it has a lovely velvety texture and is packed with expressive fruit just waiting to unfurl, finishing long and multilayered. SP26-4

  • Janzen 2016 Cloudy’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

    $159.99

    Napa Valley California
    Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
From a site not far from the Hourglass Vineyard, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Janzen Cloudy’s Vineyard is upfront and charming, with full-bodied notes of macerated black cherries, cedarwood, chocolate, and licorice. It’s a mouthfilling, sexy, opulent wine that grows with time in the glass, has solid mid-palate depth, building tannins, and a great finish. Drink it any time over the coming 15-20 years. R41-2
