  • Gerard Raphet 2018 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru

    $249.99

    Burgundy France
Here too there is just enough wood to remark upon serving as a backdrop for the more deeply pitched aromas of plum, dark raspberry and warm earth scents. This dusty and delicious effort should also reward up to a decade of cellaring. The palate is full-bodied there’s no arguing otherwise and unfolds with dense, concentrated layers of dark berry liqueur and crushed minerals. Even with such a luxurious, palate-coating mouthfeel, it never loses sight of its blue-blooded Burgundian identity. One for the Burgundy purists. SP4-4

  • Booker Vineyard 2018 Fracture

    $99.99

    Paso Robles California
    Jeb Dunnuck 98 Rating
Another magical wine, the 2018 Fracture is based on 100% Syrah brought up in new and used French oak. Deep purple-hued, with beautiful notes of crème de cassis, blackberries, vanilla bean, toasted spices, white flowers, and a hints of charcuterie, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness, perfectly integrated oak, a rounded, lush mouthfeel, and a great finish. This unabashedly Paso Robles Syrah brings loads of fruit yet stays balanced, elegant, and is simply a thrill to drink. SP16-5

The 2019 Château Phelan Segur from Véronique Dausse is another brilliant Saint-Estèphe in the vintage, and this estate plays in the top handful of Saint-Estèphes out there. Offering lots of darker currants, spiced plums, Iron, tobacco, and damp earth on the nose, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a concentrated, tannic, yet balanced mouthfeel, and a great finish. It needs to be forgotten for a good 5-7 years and will be a brilliant wine over the following two decades. Best After 2027. R29-1

  • Domaine Faiveley 2020 Beaune Clos de l’Ecu Premier Cru

    $99.99

Cote de Beaune Cote d'Or Burgundy France
    Wine Advocate 93 Rating
Aromas of raspberries, cherries, sweet spices, raw cocoa and peonies preface the 2020 Beaune 1er Cru Clos de l'Écu Monopole, a medium to full-bodied, concentrated and vibrant wine with tangy acids, melting tannins and a long, saline finish. This is very promising. SP3-6

  • Juan Gil 2020 Monastrell Silver Label

    $13.99$150.00

    Jumilla Spain
    James Suckling 90 Rating
Rich and fruity, but also deep, with ripe blackberries, figs, spice and dark chocolate on the nose. Just a hint of dried fruit here. This is restrainedly generous with a medium to full body, showing creamy tannins and a flavorful finish. A very solid monastrell. From organically grown grapes.

  • Domaine Louis Moreau 2017 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru

    $99.99

    Burgundy France
    Wine Enthusiast 97 Rating
Hints of cool chalk and bright lemon show on this wine’s shy but fresh nose. A whisper of smoke accompanies the stony, wet-chalk notes. Chalkiness is even more pronounced on the palate, pervading texture and body, but also referencing lemon zestiness and riper tangerine. Gorgeously fresh now, this alluring wine is certain to evolve.
