  • Chateau Guiraud 2020 Sauternes

    $69.99

    Bordeaux France
    Vinous 95 Rating
The 2020 Guiraud is fabulous. Usually a more opulent wine, the 2020 impresses with its translucent personality. Orange confit, apricot preserves, chamomile and dried flowers all develop in the glass. I very much like the energy here. A classy, impressive wine.

  • Château de Chamirey 2019 Mercurey Clos du Roi Premier Cru

    $69.99

    Burgundy France
    Wine Spectator 92 Rating
Boasts bright cherry and blackberry fruit wrapped in a harmonious cloak of vanilla, sandalwood and sweet spices. Silky and balanced, with the flavors lingering nicely as this fades gracefully. Shows excellent length. Drink now through 2032.

  • Mauritson 2019 Rockpile Ridge Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

    $69.99

    Sonoma County California
    Wine Advocate 95 Rating
Blended with 13% Malbec, 10% Petit Verdot and 1% Merlot and displaying a deep ruby-purple color, the 2019 Rockpile Cabernet Sauvignon Rockpile Ridge Vineyard has broody tar and blackcurrants on the nose to begin, unfolding as it airs in the glass to wafts of lavender and menthol. The full-bodied palate is powerful and grainy, with bright acidity to balance its concentrated fruits, and it finishes long and spicy. BX-6

  • M.A. Monticelli 2016 Barolo Bussia Riserva

    $69.99

    Piedmont Italy
    Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
A step up, the 2016 Barolo Bussia Riserva has a fabulous nose of ripe cherries, dried rose petals, spice, white truffle, and loamy earth. It's balanced, medium-bodied, has fine tannins, flawless balance, and just a nuanced, seamless profile. SP49-11

  • Chateau Bellefont Belcier 2016 St-Emilion Grand Cru

    $69.99

    Bordeaux France
    Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
The 2016 Château Bellefont-Belcier was truly brilliant on all three occasions I was able to taste it, rating 95 twice and 97 once. Coming from a 13.5-hectare vineyard on the magical Côte Pavie (it’s right next door to Larcis-Ducasse) and a blend of 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 20 months in 80% new oak, it offers a black fruit-driven style as well as loads of black raspberries, black cherries, graphite, leafy herbs, and hints of incense. It's powerful, full-bodied, has building sweet tannins, and the rock star purity of fruit that's the hallmark of the vintage. It’s an awesome wine to drink over the coming 20-25 years. SP51-5

  • William Fevre 2018 Chablis Vaillons Premier Cru

    $69.99

    Burgundy France
    Wine Enthusiast 94 Rating
This wine's intriguing nose combines rich candlewax with bright lemon oil. The palate is rounded and smooth, with buffered freshness on the mid palate. It is here that the sense of chalky depth comes in, conveying a stony, austere hinterland for which 2018's generous fruit is mere window dressing. With its depth, the wine expresses the vintage beautifully. R8-2

  • Limerick Lane “1910 Block” 2014 Russian River Valley Zinfandel

    $69.99

    California
    Wine Advocate 96 Rating
My highest score went to the 2014 Proprietary Red 1910 Block, which comes from an historic terroir planted in 1910. The plot is 4.7 acres, and while it is dominated by Zinfandel, the likes of Peloursin, Négrette, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Carignan are also found there. Those varieties are all co-fermented together for this wine, which was aged 18 months in neutral oak and 100% destemmed. Inky purple, it offers up notes of blackberry and blueberry liqueur with creosote, charcoal, earth, licorice and underbrush. It has a dense, full-bodied, opulent texture, beautiful, plush tannins, and adequate but relatively low acidity. This big, juicy, exuberant, hedonistic fruit bomb should drink well for another 7-8 years. The finished alcohol is 15.1%. R17-4

  • Kosta Browne 2019 Chardonnay One Sixteen

    $69.99

    Russian River Valley California
    Jeb Dunnuck 96 Rating
A beautiful Chardonnay, the 2019 Chardonnay One Sixteen reveals a medium gold hue as well as a crisp, vibrant nose of honeyed lemon and orchard fruits intermixed with toasted brioche, honeysuckle, white flowers, and a touch of toasted almonds. These all carry over to the palate, where the wine is medium-bodied, has bright yet integrated acidity, and a clean, incredibly classy, lengthy finish. Give bottles a year or three and enjoy over the following decade. BX-6

  • Domaine Serene 2018 Evenstad Reserve Chardonnay

    $69.99

    Willamette Valley Oregon
    James Suckling 96 Rating
Impressive complexity and poise from the outset with aromas of sliced peach and nectarine, as well as pear and honeydew. Some wet stones, too. The palate has impressive fluidity with intense, fleshy pears and white peaches, threaded with a savory, toasted-hazelnut edge. Drink or hold. SPA10-1
