Ramey 2020 Rochioli Vineyard Chardonnay
$64.99Russian River Valley Sonoma California
Wine Enthusiast 98 Rating
Great depth comes with impeccable balance in this beautifully proportioned wine that is silky and bracing at the same time. Bright acidity mingles with ripe Bosc pears, cream and toast flavors that linger nicely on the finish. Collectible and age worthy, it will only improve with time. Best from 2026–2036. BX-7 -

A bright red color, the 2019 Brunello Di Montalcino is floral and aromatic of preserved strawberries, baby powder, and herbes de Provence. Medium-bodied, it has refined ripe tannins, even acidity, and a clean, stony textured finish. A lovely and charming wine, it’s drinking well now and will drink well over the coming 8-10 years. Far Mountain 2020 Fission Cabernet Sauvignon
$64.99Moon Mountain District Sonoma
Enjoyabilityfactor 94 Rating
The wine is dark, fresh and young. Enters with density and freshness together with a long mid palate. Earthy notes are present together with spices and dry herbs combined with the black fruit. Graphite gives way to bright, red fruit on a textural palate marked by mountain minerality. Balance and bright flavors, tannins are present yet in a subtle and soft way. Its defined structure along with fine-grained tannins that are present, yet soft, result in a complex finish that will allow the wine to age gracefully. -
Domaine de Ferrand 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape
$64.99Southern Rhone Valley France
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
Beautiful violets, wildflowers, Asian spices, lavender, and Bing cherry fruits all soar from the glass of the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape. This full-bodied, beautifully textured, seamless 2019 brings the richness of the vintage while staying light on its feet, elegant, and perfectly balanced. While the acidity is quite low (I’m sure the pH is quite high), this will age on its balance and concentration. Hats off to Philippe Bravey for another singular Châteauneuf du Pape that readers will love to have in their cellars. As usual, the blend is 85% Grenache, with the balance other permitted varieties, brought up completely in tank. It can be drunk any time over the coming 15 years or more. SP38-10 SPBX-24 -
Kistler Vineyards 2023 ‘Les Noisetiers’ Chardonnay
$64.99Sonoma Coast California
This ‘Les Noisetiers’ Chardonnay is Kistler’s multi-vineyard Chardonnay bottling based on the three Sonoma Coast vineyards from which they bottle single vineyard examples; Vine Hill, Trenton Roadhouse and Dutton Ranch. ‘Noisetiers’ means ‘hazelnut’ in French and “refers to the lightly toasted hazelnut characters manifested year in and year out from these sites.” As with the vineyard-designates, this wine is barrel fermented and aged on the lees in 25% new three year air-dried French oak barrels for 11 months, after which time it is transferred to stainless steel tank for another three months of aging before bottling. -
Massolino 2016 Barolo
$64.99Piedmont Italy
Wine Spectator 95 Rating
A stream of pure, juicy cherry fruit is at the heart of this red, along with mineral, tobacco and wild herb notes. Firm and tightly wound, with a matrix of dense, refined tannins for support. All the elements are in the right proportions, this just needs time. SP49-5 -
Pax 2014 Syrah Griffin’s Lair Sonoma Coast
$64.99Sonoma County California
Antonio Galloni 93 Rating
The 2014 Syrah Griffin's Lair Vineyard is another incredibly expressive, deep wine from Pax Mahle. Lavender, menthol, sage, iron, smoke, leather, licorice and intense, inky fruit confer tremendous richness and dimension to a Syrah endowed with tons of complexity and personality. SP15-5 -
Merry Edwards 2015 Pinot Noir
$64.99Russian River Valley California
Wine Enthusiast 95 Rating
Made from grapes sourced from several sites across the appellation, this shows deft winemaking skill in its velvety, gritty texture and beautiful aromas and flavors of cured meat, rose petal and Asian five spice. Bright acidity lifts the tones of cranberry, rhubarb and mushroom earthiness, with a touch of crushed stone. R25-2 -
Long Shadows 2018 Feather Cabernet Sauvignon
$64.99Columbia Valley Washington
Jeb Dunnuck 98 Rating
The classic 2018 Feather (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) comes from the Weinbau and Wallula Vineyards and spent 22 months in 90% new French oak. It has a wonderfully pure nose of crème de cassis, new saddle leather, dried flowers, and tobacco that carries to a medium to full-bodied, seamless Cabernet with a wonderful sense of purity, balance, and elegance, all while bringing plenty of fruit and structure. I actually like it today, yet it has enough tannins to benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and should be long lived. R40-7 SP29-6
