A fresh, expressive red, this also exhibits tension, lending energy to its black currant, cherry, licorice and cedar flavors. Graphite and salty accents add detail on the long, tightly wound finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2033.

Collina dei Lecci 2016 Brunello di Montalcino

James Suckling 93 Rating
A solid red with black cherry and mahogany. Some chocolate and hazelnut, too. Medium-to full-bodied with round tannins and a chewy finish. Yet, it’s polished and delicious. Drink or hold.

Robert Foley Vineyards 2019 Petite Sirah
$69.99 – $360.00Napa Valley California
This inky deep purple colored Petite Sirah from Calistoga might be Bob’s best yet. It opens with a mulberry and stewed plum bouquet with hints of sweet black olive, dark chocolate, espresso, and baking spice. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, smooth, velvety, and supple. The flavor profile is a loam and black raspberry blend with notes of minerality, oak, anise, and blueberry. We also detected hints of nutmeg and dark chocolate. The finish is dry, and its grippy tannins are very prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this Petite Sirah with a Tuscan veal chop, ox tail stew, or with osso buco. Enjoy – KWGTP

John Anthony 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon
$79.99 – $360.00Napa Valley California
Wine Spectator 93 Rating
Really ripe and takes an exotic bent, with a mix of loganberry, mulberry and boysenberry fruit compote flavors infused liberally with licorice snap and wood spice accents. Shows lots of apple wood and mesquite through the finish, which is carried by a tarry spine. Showy and pulls it off. Best from 2023 through 2035. 2,391 cases made.

This Chardonnay displays a pale-yellow hue hinting at a delight for your senses. Aromas bursting of ripe Asian pear, green apple, honeydew melon, and pink grapefruit mingled with nectarine notes. The palate follows through with a distinct richness of lemon curd and balanced flavors of guava with white peach. The acidity in this wine is mouthwatering.
