Raen 2024 Royal St. Robert Cuvee Pinot Noir
$79.99Sonoma Coast California
The wine opens to opulent aromas of rose petals, wild strawberry, savory herbs and the edge of a coastal forest nearing a springtime meadow. This is followed by red cherry, raspberry plum, blood orange marmalade, rose petals and thyme. Layers of coastal forest floor with mushroom laced foliage, rosemary, sea moss and ripe cherries add a unique depth and earthy character, while a vibrant core of red and black berries carry through the palate. The finish is lifted by spice and coastal freshness, leaving a long and youthful impression. R14-4 -
Realm Cellars 2018 Moonracer Cabernet Sauvignon
$323.99Napa Valley California
Jeb Dunnuck 98+ Rating
From the estate property around the new winery in Stags Leap, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Moonracer (there are normally small amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Franc in the blend) offers a glorious Napa Cabernet nose of crème de cassis, lead pencil shavings, dried flowers, and chocolate that develops beautifully with time in the glass. It doesn't lose a beat on the palate either and is full-bodied, with a layered, focused texture, building structure, and a great, great finish. It's a serious, age-worthy wine that needs 4-5 years of bottle age yet will evolve like a First Growth from Bordeaux. -
Recoltant 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Price range: $39.99 through $198.00California
The dark brooding aromatics from this wine come from one of the best vintages mother nature has given Napa Valley this decade. A beautiful blend of dense lilac and violets with dark raspberry and fresh cassis on the nose. Followed by balance with ripe and fresh black and red fruits with gentle acidity and generous tannins. The wine finishes with finesse and polish.

Wine Advocate 93 Rating
The 2023 Chardonnay Willamette Valley, made entirely from estate fruit for the first time this vintage, was matured for 16 months in 20% new French oak. It has nuanced aromas of matchstick, white fruit, Meyer lemon, meringue and citrus blossoms. The light-bodied palate is elegantly styled with a silky texture, creamy citrus flavors, vibrant acidity and a long, energetic finish.

Resonance 2023 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley
Price range: $29.99 through $150.00Oregon
Decanter Magazine 94 Rating
This so-called ‘entry-level’ Willamette Valley bottling is absolutely stellar. Pretty aromatics of Moroccan spices, pine bough and deep notes of forest floor. On the palate, an elegance and finesse. Wonderful red fruits chopped mint leaves and lively blue fruit character. Forest-driven umami and a wonderfully integrated, supple mouthfeel through the finish.

Ridge 2012 Monte Bello
$274.99Santa Cruz Mountains California
Antonio Galloni 98 Rating
The 2012 Monte Bello is one of the most harmonious young Monte Bellos I can remember tasting. Seamless and voluptuous through to the finish, the 2012 is showing beautifully today. Raspberry jam, pomegranate, white flowers, mint and spices are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass. A wine with a distinctly red-hued profile, silky tannins, no hard edges and exceptional overall balance, the 2012 Monte Bello is simply magnificent. The 2012 is racy but also impeccably balanced throughout, with shades of the 2001 that come through from time to time. I won't be surprised if the 2013 and 2014 both eventually surpass it, but there is no denying that the 2012 is simply stunning today. This is one of the best showings yet for the 2012. BX-3 BX-3 -

Pure perfection, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Bello is a sensational effort from this estate that should be snatched up by drinkers and collectors. Based on 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot, and the rest Cabernet Franc that was brought up mostly in new American oak, this saturated purple-hued beauty is legendary Monte Bello in the making and has a stunning yet primordial bouquet of crème de cassis, lead pencil shavings, graphite, chocolate, and chalky minerality. Full-bodied, incredibly powerful, and one of the most concentrated versions of this cuvée ever made (I've had most of them), it needs a solid decade of bottle age and will have 50-60 years of overall longevity. Despite the long drinking window, it offers plenty of pleasure even today. I followed this bottle for two days and it showed best right out of the gate, closing down and becoming more brooding and backward with air. It's an incredible wine that I promise you won't regret having in your cellar. SP-3 -

The 2023 Chardonnay Estate is a unicorn wine, with the acids naturally occurring with ease in this cool, long, extended growing season that the wine world is rightfully excited about, producing wines of tremendous elegance and balance, sourced entirely from Monte Bello Estate. The minerality is off the charts, exuberantly defining the wine after a barrel fermentation of nine months on the lees in 85% American and 15% French oak, 15% of it new. Gorgeously lengthy and bright, winemaker John Olney recommends that for primary fruit. R31-3
