Bodega Corazon del Sol is dedicated to site driven, small-production wines. This high-elevation Malbec tells the story of one of Mendoza’s rockiest sub-zones, Los Chacayes IG. Led by the winemaking pioneer of single vineyard Malbec, Santiago Achaval, and protege Cristian Moor. Planted with 100-year-old ‘massalle selection’ cuttings of Malbec, the vines are sustainably farmed, hand-harvested, individually berry-sorted, then fermented in small batches.

Dark and concentrated in the glass, this bottling immediately reveals an elegantly refined polish. Aromas of blackberry, dark cocoa and black pepper lead into a palate that's concentrated but perfectly ripe. Flavors of black currant, vanilla, toast and a hint of mint are wrapped in complex yet smooth tannins and ample, fresh acidity. SP8-2
