This wine is the unobtrusive dinner-party guest that impresses everyone without calling attention to herself. Complex, layered aromas of Gala apple, Forelle pear and dew-topped forest floor charm the nose along with the faintest hint of white tea leaf and white peach blossom. The palate is silky, luxurious, understated and draws you in.

    Vinous 91 Rating
The 2022 Barbaresco is pliant and expressive, with lovely depth and fine balance. Bright red-toned fruit, orange peel, mint, cinnamon and rose petal are nicely delineated in this attractive mid-weight offering. The 2022 is a stylish entry-level Barbaresco that in this vintage benefits from heat that allowed some of the estate’s less well-exposed parcels to ripen well.

This Langhe Arneis is like a summer fling in a glass – flirty, fun, and impossible to resist. It’s the perfect poolside companion or that perfect fresh wine for a good movie and the couch.

    Veneto Italy
    Wine Advocate 92 Rating
In the bottle with the dark frosted glass, the 2020 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a rich and voluptuous wine with layers of dark fruit, baked plum and sweet barbecue spice. This air-dried blend of 55% Corvina Veronese, 25% Corvinone and 20% Rondinella maintains a classic Amarone profile with moderate complexity and a more approachable 15% alcohol content (which remains on the low end of this high-octane category of reds). There is a flurry of bitter and sweet spice on the close. Cesari counts over 100 hectares of hillside vineyards with different soil profiles ranging from 150 to 500 meters in elevation. This affords the winemaking team plenty of excellent sites to choose from.

Super classic Brunello from a classic vintage, being released now. The perfume to this is really something, with cherries, flowers, lead pencil and light hints of graphite. Then it moves to raspberries and black cherries with some sandalwood shavings. You just want to smell it. Clear and transparent. Full-bodied with very fine and succinct tannins that fill the mouth and show super tension and form. Extremely long and structured. Beautiful now, but this will age for decades ahead. Drink or hold. BX-3
