Massolino 2013 Barolo
$49.99Piedmont Italy
Wine Enthusiast 95 Rating
Beguiling scents of fragrant berry, rose petal, baking spice, new leather and aromatic herbs swirl around in the glass. The vibrant palate is loaded with finesse, doling out morello cherry, crushed raspberry, cinnamon and star anise, while polished tannins and bright acidity provide impeccable balance. It's just gorgeous and while it's already accessible, it also shows midterm aging potential. SP47-1 -

Manni Nössing 2023 Kerner Valle Isarco
Price range: $32.99 through $168.00Alto Adige Italy
Antonio Galloni 94 Rating
Decidedly green in the best possible way, the 2023 Kerner launches from the glass with zest of lime and sour melon, hints of young kiwi and spice. It washes across the palate with silken, nearly oily textures and ripe, citrus-inflected orchard fruits as a bump of juicy acidity adds energy throughout. Long and saturating through the close, the 2023 reveals its underlying minerality and leaves an impression of lovely freshness.

Hartford Court 2024 Chardonnay Russian River Valley
Price range: $24.99 through $120.00Sonoma County California
Vinous 92 Rating
The 2024 Chardonnay (Russian River Valley) really overdelivers. It’s an ideal expression of the Russian River Valley, with all the bright, sunny orchard fruit and spritzy citrus lift you could hope for, but also an extra measure of freshness and juiciness that leaves the mouth watering. Notably restrained, the 2024 shows excellent finesse, especially for an appellation-level bottling.

Bodega Colome 2022 Estate Malbec
Price range: $19.99 through $96.00Salta Argentina
Vinous 92 Rating
The Malbec Estate from the Calchaquí Valley, Salta was aged for 15 months in a quarter new barrels. A purplish ebony in the glass. The concentrated, intense nose offers notes of fruit jam with plum, spice, chutney and balsamic aromas. In the mouth, it makes a plush entrance with good vigor, a juicy flow, refined, reactive tannins and a bold expression. A balanced but powerful high altitude red, the combination of different vineyards from across the valley makes for a complex profile.
