Chimney Rock 2019 Tomahawk Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
$129.99Stags Leap District Napa Valley California
Antonio Galloni 96 Rating
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Tomahawk Vineyard is the most potent wine in this lineup. This big, strapping Stags Leap Cabernet offers up copious dark fruit, grilled herbs, spice, leather and lavender, all wrapped into a bundle of power and energy. The 2019 needs cellaring, but it's a compelling Cabernet in the making. R3-1 -
Churchill’s 2016 Late Bottled Vintage Port
$19.99Portugal
Like all other Churchill’s Ports, the component wines of this Vintage Port have been treaded by foot in traditional granite lagares (treading tanks). Following the vintage the young LBV Ports are carefully tasted, selected and blended. The blended Port is then matured in large oak vats during 4 years where it softens, shedding its harsh tannins, but without losing its full bodied, rich fruit flavors. Finally, after 4 years in wood vats it is bottled unfiltered into dark Vintage Port bottles and laid down to finish its maturation in our temperature conditioned cellars. -
Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona 2013 Brunello di Montalcino
$38.99Tuscany Italy
Wine Advocate 94 Rating
This wine initially comes off as more somber, brooding and dark in personality. The 2013 Brunello di Montalcino takes a few moments in the glass before its starts to relax and grow in volume and context. Before long, opulent tones of black fruit, spice and pipe tobacco. The wine is elegantly tempered and finessed on the close. BX-8 -

Clark Claudon 2013 Eternity Cabernet Sauvignon

The stunning 2013 Eternity Proprietary Red wine is obviously a Bordeaux blend. It reveals unsmoked cigar tobacco and licorice, Christmas fruitcake, cedar wood and plenty of blackberry and cassis fruit along with a full-bodied palate. The oak is well-disguised by the wine’s lavish concentration and intensity. It should drink beautifully for another 20+ years. SP28-10
