Coppo’s 2020 Barolo is a very pretty, inviting wine. Wild red cherry, spice, orange peel, cedar and pipe tobacco offer lovely aromatic intensity to play off the wine’s pliant, open-knit fruit. Soft, creamy tannins wrap it all together through the sustained, silky finish. This is a fine Barolo. Drink it over the coming seven to ten years.
