A deeper ruby/red color, the 2020 Barolo comes from the same vineyards as the No Name as well as Annunziata and offers more depth and ripeness, with aromas of black raspberries, candied cherries, preserved flowers, sweet herbs, and mossy earth. It has outstanding ripeness and purity and is long on the palate, with all its components coming together, delivering warmth, structure, and freshness. This is pretty serious wine, one of the best blended wines I’ve tasted in this vintage, and it’s going to be hard to beat. Buy it now. R8-3

This wine is filled with alluring vulnerability. The nose swirls with rose-petal-dusted red raspberry that bumps up against black plum, dried cranberry and cassis. A mineral quality infuses the fruit core with sleek tannins leading to a savory, black-tea finish.

  • Domaine Gueneau 2024 Sancerre "Les Terres Blanches"

Domaine Gueneau 2024 Sancerre “Les Terres Blanches”

    Price range: $29.99 through $420.00

    Loire Valley France
The 2024 Domaine Gueneau “Les Terres Blanches” Sancerre comes from 25-year-old Sauvignon Blanc vines rooted mainly in the chalky clay-limestone slopes (terres blanches) of Sury-en-Vaux and Chavignol, soils that lend depth and minerality to the wine. Farmed under a sustainable culture raisonnée approach with grass cover between rows and single Guyot pruning, the grapes are hand-harvested, gently pressed in a pneumatic press, and undergo a short cold maceration before fermenting in stainless steel. The wine is then aged for about eight months on its fine lees, which adds texture and complexity while preserving the bright citrus, herbal, and flinty character that defines this terroir-driven Loire Valley Sancerre.

  • Chateau De La Bottiere 2024 Julienas Cru

Chateau De La Bottiere 2024 Julienas Cru

    Price range: $22.99 through $192.00

    Beaujolais Burgundy France
Chateau de la Bottiere Julienas Cru Beaujolais shimmers a dark ruby into magenta and soft purple. On the nose, it is a breeze of dark raspberries and wild strawberries, peppered with crushed violets, peonies, star anise, and an undercurrent of dark, stony earth. It is plenty smooth, pretty, and soft, but there is also a nice crunch of acid and tannin which gives the wine its lift and palate persistence. While exceedingly drinkable now, We’re confident it has enough gusto for short-term aging (3-5 years).y fatter in expression at first, with more butter and macadamia nut, but then recedes toward zesty grapefruit peel flavors.

Delicate rose petals and wild berries float above warm earth notes, while threads of dried herbs weave through the background. The wine is luscious and creamy, ripe in baked apples, peaches and vanilla on a silky texture and rather full in mouthfeel, yet modest in alcohol. Has the concentration to expand on the palate and linger in the finish. Drink or hold. .

Have you ever encountered a moment so fantastically enjoyable, you wondered if it was real? An experience that felt architected just for you. Nowhere else to be, no one and nothing else calling your attention. You’re grinning, bright eyed, and buzzing with new energy. It’s the perfect blend of friendly comfort and delicious surprise. That’s how we think about our undeniably yummy Pinot Gris – enthusiastically, curiously, and delightfully refreshing. We made it extra juicy with 10% Sauvignon Blanc (the max amount of non-Pinot Gris allowed under Oregon’s wine rules, FYI) because we believe it supercharges the wine’s mouthwatering factor.
