Château Picard 2016 Saint-Estèphe Cru bourgeois
$29.99 – $288.00
Bordeaux France
Co-owner of the famous Château Palmer in Margaux with the Sichel, the Mähler Besse family made its name in the textile and wine merchant industry. Château Picard, a cru bourgeois located at the heart of Saint-Estèphe village, is also part of its portfolio. Aging in oak barrels over 12 to 18 months yields rather well-integrated wood and a nicely fleshy mouth where shine notes of black fruits, cedar, violet and graphite. Nice tension comes across, making the wine easy-drinking and pleasing as of now. It can, however, wait three or four years.
Must be ordered.
